Situated within the beautiful Andalusia village of Frigiliana, this is the perfect family holiday home with fully equipped kitchen, living area and three double bedrooms on two storeys; one en suite and two additional bath and shower rooms. The house has a private pool (5m x 3m) alongside outdoor BBQ and dining terrace. Comfortably sleeping a family of six or three adult couples. Air-conditioned and fully furnished throughout with UK, (English) terrestrial TV including BBC1 & 2, ITV, CH 4 & 5, Film 4 and CBBC channels.

Why JOHN ANDREWS chose Axarquia (Costa del Sol)

We first discovered Frigiliana in 2001 and fell in love with its beauty and friendly nature. The local residents go out of their way to welcome guests to what is essentially their home village. Quite justifiable planning controls have restricted building works around the village leaving more peaceful surroundings than some of the nearby coastal resorts. That said, there are ample bars and good quality restaurants to enjoy traditional and generic menus, and a number of quaint, well stocked fresh produce shops.

What makes this house unique

The local climate and surrounding countryside are huge attractions for us. We enjoy also the nearby towns and cities and enjoy travelling to places such as Seville and Granada.

A bright and spacious townhouse ideally situated to explore this bustling, village boasting over twenty restaurants and bars and within easy access to the sea side resort of Nerja. Local transport is cheap, frequent and reliable and excursions further afield can easily be arranged for those who dislike car hire. Our friendly holiday manager, Miranda is on hand to help with holiday queries and for an additional price, will provide transport to and from the airport or deliver a massage service within the holiday home. Extra cleaning including linen changes can be arranged as can a welcome pack on arrival. As the property is West facing, it benefits from air-conditioning as well as a sun canopy that extends across the living room out-door terrace. Guests can absorb themselves in village life, enjoying the festivals that take place throughout the year or visiting the weekly markets in Frigiliana or Nerja. For beach lovers, five beautiful beaches are just a short bus journey away.

A very nice house very close to the historical centre.

I had a great time in Frigiliana. I went initially to be close to Nerja but ended up infinitely preferring Frigiliana. My only gripe with the property is the sun really only hits the pool for a short time each day. The Terrace has it all afternoon and evening and it would have been nice to have a sunbed - though I appreciate it's not a huge terrace. The house was well-appointed and everything about the meet and greet etc. was great. Only difficulty in Frigiliana is parking. At times it was very difficult to get parked near the house. Overall it was a great experience and I would go back again.
