Delightfully presented, with beams, secluded terrace, winding stone staircase
The house is located in a quiet road in the heart of the village, with an open outlook to the hills beyond from the very private roof terrace, ideal for dining out beneath the stars.
The house is stone-built, up to 600 years old in part, with original beams everywhere, a winding stone staircase, and bags of charm.
The house is in the heart of the charming unspoilt village of Villeseque des Corbieres, which nestles in a beautiful valley, and is just 30 mins from the Mediterranean coast
There is a small village shop, a post office, and a newly-opened bar / bistro, also another restaurant just at the edge of the village. There is also a much larger supermarket, tabac, garage, and many more shops and restaurants five miles to the south in Durban. The city of Narbonne is 25 minutes to the north.

Activity and Interests
The Languedoc-Roussillon region is one of the sunniest in France, with sunshine on average 320 days a year.
Its 150 miles of Mediterannean coastline boast miles of sandy beaches, running down to the Spanish border.
As well as the major towns, all of which are full of character, there is plenty of wild countryside, and unspoilt coastline
There is a wealth of things to do in this diverse region, including spectacular Cathar Castles (such as Peyreperteuse,) vineyards, cycling, fishing, hiking, beaches, food and wine, shopping or simply relaxing in a very French country village.
