This beautiful property is available for short stays and weekends for the first time, the living space is very generous with a large lounge a snug lounge large kitchen/ dining area plus separate dining room. Out side there is a private pool and covered hot tub plus patio areas to relax and unwind in. The pool is heated to 32 degrees and the hot tub is heated to 39 degrees. From the front door there are lovely walks to the banks of the river Parrett or down to the next villages of Combwich or Cannington both of which have some lovely old pubs to quench your thirst on arrival. Please note the pool will only be usable between 9am and 9pm and from the end of April until the end of September but the hot tub is available until 9pm all year round.

My Name is Mark and I own this property with Shaun, my partner of 27 years. We have renovated several properties over the years and decided this time to do something a little different. I have been an Area manager for the past 15 years and Shaun has been in the retail industry for the past 15 years. Prior to that Shaun worked in hospitality and this has been something we wanted to go back to together.

Everything we hoped our weekend would be!

Where to begin.....

Easy to find, fantastic spot, well tended grounds (the orchard was a great novelty!), spotless accommodation, plenty of space, gorgeous interior, well equipped, friendly and helpful owners, dreamy pool and pool side bar (and hot tub!), comfortable beds, generous welcome treats and an altogether fantastic stay!! It was the first time we'd been away as a family and we loved every second....faultless and charming barn. We hope to return!!

Fantastic property

Amazing property with so much thought and detail within . Owners were fantastic and so thoughtful, pool was amazing and so warm even in good old British rain !! Would of been more than happy to spend the 3 days at the house and not gone out !!! Thank you very much hope to return very soon !

A Jewel in the Crown

Wagon Barn Retreat is without any shadow of a doubt the best place we have stayed in.

Mark and Shaun were there to greet us when we arrived and were very welcoming.

The property was extremely clean and very well presented.

We found in the refrigerator a bottle of wine, cheese, cold meat and other items plus tea, and coffee which was a very pleasant surprise.

Our party included 4 grandchildren who made full use of the swimming pool and hot tub every day which I must say were the warmest we have encountered, a pleasure to swim in.

We were also given some fresh new laid eggs and told to help ourselves to the plums from the trees in the garden which was most welcome..

I have no hesitation in giving the property 5 stars and conveying our thanks to Mark and Shaun for a first class holiday.

Beautiful house and setting

We (8 adults) had a wonderful long weekend at Wagon Barn. Mark and Shaun were the perfect hosts and we loved the thoughtful little touches around the house! We lucked out with the weather so we spent our days relaxing by the pool, in the hot-tub and cooking on the barbecue.

Lovely quiet lovation

The best holiday home we have ever rented in our 30 years of marriage. Fully equipped with everything you could need. We all loved the pool which was lovely and warm. - even our 22 year old disabled son went in which is most unusual. Also a great bar and spa area - ideal for entertaining. Highly
