3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Edwardian house 10 minutes from the City Centre

A beautiful Edwardian 3 bedroom house in an ideal location and just 10 minute walk from the city center with free on street parking.

A private walled patio garden with decking, a built in BBQ and table and chairs for 6 people. The garden has tennis courts behind making it a peaceful and quiet sun trap in the summer and a perfect setting for alfresco dining or a few drinks before strolling into town to enjoy the bars and restaurants that York has to offer.

Among the usual amenities, shops and pubs etc there are basketball courts and a local bowling green which are free to use.

House consists of:

GROUND FLOOR

Entrance hall

Lounge - large corner sofa, 2 armchairs and a log burner (logs supplied)

Dining room - table and chairs for 6 people

Kitchen - fully fitted with electric oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer

Shower room - shower and toilet

Garden - walled patio garden with dining table and chairs for 6 people, a shed for safe storage and a built-in BBQ

FIRST FLOOR

Large bathroom with roll top bath, double shower and toilet

Bedroom 1 - large bedroom with kingsize bed and fitted wardrobes

Bedroom 2 - double bed and in built wardrobe overlooking the tennis courts

SECOND FLOOR

Bedroom 3 - large bedroom with kingsize bed and an additional single bed

Free wifi, 32" TV with freeview

Free on street parking

Usual changeover days are Mondays and Fridays but if you have any special requests then please contact the owner

loved the house and situation. We would have found information re: heating and dishwasher useful.

Ideal house as a base for visiting York, clean & tidy. We struggled to work out the heating system and the lady who opened up the house was unaware of how it worked. Information re: heating & dishwasher would be useful. Items missing were kindling wood for the log fire and basic food stuffs i.e cooking oil / stock cubes / salad cream / flour. The sugar and coffee we had to replace. There were no dishwasher tablets, scourer and only 1 tea towel. We also had to top up loo rolls. All the pots of plants in the garden needed watering,, this we sorted. These are small issues but important when starting off on holiday. However on the flip side this is a lovely house it was very clean & tidy & a great base for York, Jane Phillips

Roomy terraced house near centre of York

Excellent stay in clean and comfortable house, ideal for our family get together in York. Could have done with a bit of kindling to make lighting the stove a bit easier and the vacuum did not seem to work properly but otherwise great. Thank you.

Welcoming home from home

The property was lovely and welcoming. Very spacious and spotlessly clean. The location was ideal for getting into the centre of York and little thoughtful touches like Taxi Numbers and takeaway menus took all the hassle out of being in a new area. There was 6 of us that stayed and there was plenty of room for us all in the 3 double bedrooms. The 2 toilets and showers were a bonus and made getting a ready hassle free. Couldn't recommend enough!

Beautiful accomodation

Our 3 night in York were fabulous made even better by the accomodation it was a beautiful house in a great location with all the mod cons. Would highly recommend owners direct and will use them again .
