3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Edwardian house 10 minutes from the City Centre

A beautiful Edwardian 3 bedroom house in an ideal location and just 10 minute walk from the city center with free on street parking.

A private walled patio garden with decking, a built in BBQ and table and chairs for 6 people. The garden has tennis courts behind making it a peaceful and quiet sun trap in the summer and a perfect setting for alfresco dining or a few drinks before strolling into town to enjoy the bars and restaurants that York has to offer.

Among the usual amenities, shops and pubs etc there are basketball courts and a local bowling green which are free to use.

House consists of:

GROUND FLOOR

Entrance hall

Lounge - large corner sofa, 2 armchairs and a log burner (logs supplied)

Dining room - table and chairs for 6 people

Kitchen - fully fitted with electric oven, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer

Shower room - shower and toilet

Garden - walled patio garden with dining table and chairs for 6 people, a shed for safe storage and a built-in BBQ

FIRST FLOOR

Large bathroom with roll top bath, double shower and toilet

Bedroom 1 - large bedroom with kingsize bed and fitted wardrobes

Bedroom 2 - double bed and in built wardrobe overlooking the tennis courts

SECOND FLOOR

Bedroom 3 - large bedroom with kingsize bed and an additional single bed

Free wifi, 32" TV with freeview

Free on street parking

Usual changeover days are Mondays and Fridays but if you have any special requests then please contact the owner

Welcoming home from home

The property was lovely and welcoming. Very spacious and spotlessly clean. The location was ideal for getting into the centre of York and little thoughtful touches like Taxi Numbers and takeaway menus took all the hassle out of being in a new area. There was 6 of us that stayed and there was plenty of room for us all in the 3 double bedrooms. The 2 toilets and showers were a bonus and made getting a ready hassle free. Couldn't recommend enough!

Beautiful accomodation

Our 3 night in York were fabulous made even better by the accomodation it was a beautiful house in a great location with all the mod cons. Would highly recommend owners direct and will use them again .

Lovely property well equiped

Excellent stay, Claire met us on our later than expected arrival and showed us arounf the house. Claire was very friendly and accomodating and the property was very clean and well persented. The house was very comfortable and for us and excellent base to walk into York itself, only a 10 - 15 minute walk. Excellent facilities nearby and would recommend to anyone, only slight draw back is the on-street parking which we managed to land lucky and get right outside but if using car all the time could be a slight issue.

Central Location, Great accomodation

Four of us stayed here in late April. It is a spacious, light and airy house, very clean, comfortable and well equipped and all facilities are modern and up to date. We loved being able to leave the car and walk into the city to explore (10 – 15 minutes). We walked to a nearby gastro-pub and local ale houses also served good food. The local church was also warm and welcoming. The minster and other historic sights, shopping center and the river are all within easy reach. It was a lovely stay and we were delighted that we could explore York City so easily.
