Villa El Gallo is a really beautiful five bedroom villa situated in an exclusive gated urbanization on the to top of Punta de la Mona. The villa has two doubles, two twins and one single. There is a private heated swimming pool in the garden and the property also has Internet and Satellite TV.
Villa El Gallo is located above La Herradura bay on the Punta de la Mona with exceptional views of the beach, village and mountains and good access to the N340 motorway. This luxury, five bedroom villa is situated in a beautiful, quiet complex of detached properties, approached by a secure, gated entrance with lovely pine woodlands. It affords magnificent and quite exceptional sea views over the bay of La Herradura with a backdrop of the mountains beyond. Stunning sun-sets and spectacular views across the bay are just part of the charm of this villa. The south-facing gardens are an ideal place to soak up the last of the sun at the end of the day, with a glass of wine as you relax and unwind on your holiday. La Herradura is one of the few remaining unspoilt villages on the Costa Tropical, that can offer a truly Spanish experience in a wonderful, tranquil environment. The town is situated on the beach road with many outside bars and restaurants offering first rate food.
The villa has 5 bedrooms, 2 doubles both with en-suite and one also with a dressing room, 2 twin rooms and 1 single. There is also another two bathrooms and outside shower.
The living/dining area is very spacious with plenty of seating and a large dining table. The kitchen is large with every necessary appliance including fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, hob, oven and much more. There is also a utility room off the kitchen with washing machine and drying area.
The whole villa is beautifully and tastefully decorated with stunning views across the bay of La Herradura.
Outside there is a large private heated swimming pool (9m x 4m), plenty of terraces, sun loungers, dining area and built in bbq.
The property also has internet access, satellite television, high chair, cot and air conditioning/heating.
Please note pool heating is extra at €150 per week.
El Gallo is a beautiful villa in stunning surroundings. It is well equipped and spacious. 7 of us had a fabulous time staying here. The pool was a highlight we all enjoyed plenty of time in there! Waking up to views of the mountains and sea is breathtaking.
We stayed at this villa for a week in June and had a fabulous week. The villa is beautiful and had plenty of living and bedroom space to accommodate two families. The pool is just perfect for taking a dip in and the kids absolutely loved it. The walk back from the town to the villa is a little steep but OK if you're not in a rush and want to take in the views. Rachel the property manager was extremely helpful both before and during our stay, took us the villa on arrival and was always on hand if we needed anything. We would thoroughly recommend staying here and may well be back ourselves!
we were amazed how big the villa and grounds were when we arrived , the rooms were all of a really good size especially the master bedroom .the staircase and hallway was fabulous .the villa was exactly as described ,it was well maintained .The swimming pool was of a very good size and very well maintained as were the grounds and the villa itself .the 1st floor terrace was of a very good size and you could sit there watching some beautiful sunsets .
The villa is located in a smart gated area within a small complex of other luxury villas. On arrival we were stunned by the beautiful views of the bay and surrounding vista. The villa is large with an impressive sweeping staircase and each bedroom opens out onto a wonderful balcony area.
The interior of the villa is simply decorated and well maintained. The kitchen area and utility rooms are fully kitted out with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer etc etc.
The ground-floor living area is well furnished and equipped, with doors onto the pool and patio area.
The property was well maintained and scrupulously clean as were the extensive garden area, large pool and grounds.
The villa is well located, being located between Almunica and Nerja, both being thriving seaside resorts. La Herradura is the local village, that has a host of small shops, supermercados and a village market plus a host of restaurants and bars.
We had a wonderful holiday and highly recommend this beautiful unspoilt location and particularly this exceptional villa.

Have Visited the villa on several occasions over the last 5 years and loved every minute of it, loads of space, kids loved having the pool outside the door, view from the villa is to die for, good base for travelling around(do need to have a car for access as its high up and a few miles from the town)
villa was clean and tidy and well maintained, manager was on hand for any problems but didn't need him.
Friends and family have also tried the villa on our recommendation and have all come back wanting to go again.
La Herradua (town you can see) lovely, friendly, bars and restaurants very nice. We enjoyed the Catamaran trips from the bay, and the port on the other side of the Punta de la Mona is just out of this world, found a small pebbly beach just on way to the port - kids didn't come out of the sea at all.
Cant wait to go back again, book early as its getting very popular in peak season.
