Cottage is a traditional mid terrace brick and flint cottage in the historic Georgian town of Holt, North Norfolk.

It is just a short walk from several first class restaurants and pubs including Byfords Restaurant & Delicatessen, also superb shops and tea rooms. The cottage has undergone extensive renovation to provide a very comfortable cottage, decorated and furnished in a contemporary style.

We provide bed linen, hand towels, tea towels and a bath mat but NOT bath towels.

The STAIRS at Moles are STEEP so may prove difficult for small children or anybody with restricted mobility.

PARKING is on street for free or around the corner in Albert street pay and display car park, there is NO designated parking space and this is reflected in our rental price.

Superbly presented, in the heart of town, being just a short drive to the coast with beaches such as Wells, Sheringham and Holkham. Burnham Market and many other picturesque villages are just a drive away along the beautiful coastal road.

We allow pets by arrangement for a small additional cost and have a lovely enclosed sunny rear yard to sit in and enjoy a glass of wine.

There is no designated parking for Moles and this is reflected in our rental fees. On street parking opposite the cottage when available is free and a pay and display car park is just around the corner.

About Rachael Robinson

We bought Moles cottage for family holidays and even though we visit several times a year we never tire of visiting North Norfolk.

Living in Derbyshire we feel very fortunate to have homes in two such stunning and completely different parts of the country.

Our dog Pip loves running on the beaches, you will find Norfolk is very dog friendly.

Perfect holiday retreat

  • 5 of 5

This is the perfect holiday cottage. Beautifully presented, super cosy and in the perfect location to wonder into Holt or explore North Norfolk. The owner was very fast in replying to our booking enquiry and a pleasure to deal with. The best part is that such a well maintained and decorated cottage allows dogs! We loved this cottage so much we booked it for 2 weeks later and hope to return on a regular basis. Thank you and we look forward to returning soon.

Lovely, comfortable cottage in beautiful town

  • 5 of 5

We have just spent a fantastic week at moles cottage. It was exactly as described in the information. Very conveniently situated in the centre of holt. We were always lucky with the parking and managed to park next to the cottage every day. It is a very well equipped cottage , with everything you could need and more besides. We spent the week touring the north Norfolk coastline as we were blessed with fantastic weather. We would return to the cottage again and would recommend it to everyone. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

Moles Cottage, Holt

  • 5 of 5

Our fourth stay at Moles Cottage. As always a very relaxing week. The cottage is always clean and well equipped. The welcome pack gets better every year! (Loved the "Fizz"). Location is great for walking into the town and for visiting those take aways when we are too tired/lazy to go to the "Feathers"...The fantastic coast is but a short drive away and we always find something new.

We have always had our greyhound "Peter" with us and not only Moles Cottage but Holt and the whole of North Norfolk are the most dog friendly places we have ever been to.

Already looking forward to our next visit to the cottage!
