Casa Tricia is a Beautiful Detached Andalusian Villa set in quiet and secure mature private gardens in a well-established residential area, the substantial lush gardens are very secluded including a number of lawns and beautiful mature trees with flowering plants. Built in traditional Andalusian style I have upgraded many areas and now it has a large shaded terraced veranda with dining table and chairs and tiled outdoor seating area/pagoda /BBQ with ample seating and sun beds for your leisure .

The Villa benefits from its own private flood-lit swimming pool, with covered dining area and BBQ with extensive terrace areas, overlooking one of the greens of El Chaparral Golf course it has magnificent scenery and sea views .

Located in a well established residential area of Los Claveles 3 overlooking the lovely seaside village of La Cala de Mijas yet only a few minutes’ walk to the beach and the town centre with its numerous bars and restaurants .

La Cala is a vibrant village which has a village square located by the fishing harbour

Casa Tricia is finished to a high standard of luxury and has unlimited Wi-Fi access for all the family and a 42inch Smart TV listing many stations and film channels with internet access and is located in one of the most prestigious golf and holiday resorts of the Costa del Sol.

The accommodation is spacious with three double bedrooms all with king size beds ,also for you convenience there are two single pull out beds and a double inflatable blow up bed which can be used to sleep up to 10 guests, these beds can be located anywhere at your convenience ,.

There are two baby travel cots with bedding ,one high chair and one low bounce chair , one baby potty along with three baby gates to secure the exits to the swimming pool.

Two full bathrooms, lounge/dining room,fully fitted kitchen, outside utility room and outside terrace areas. Including a double integral garage and your own private shaded car parking space.

Blue tooth music speaker for indoor/outdoor use.

Within a few minutes walking distance to a Mercadona supermarket, with Aldi and Lidl supermarkets located a little further on , bars and restaurants including shops, banks, taxi ranks, bus stops, , beach cafe's etc are all in La Cala so while being able to enjoy the peace and quiet in the Villa you will never be too far from everything you could need.

July and August are the hottest and busiest months to visit La Cala de Mijas, however, it is also an ideal winter and Golf destination .The majority of local festivities all take place between May and November, including the Sardinada sardine festival in May, the Fiesta Las Lagunas and San Juan Fiesta in June, La Cala Fair in July and the International Food Festival in November. Each year on July 16th, locals also celebrate El Día de la Virgen del Carmen; a religious festival in which fishermen give thanks to their patron saint.

If you don't want to hire a car the Villa is in easy walking distance from the bus stop which connects to the excellent train service from Malaga airport.

Golf.

Play at La Cala and Mijas Golf Course, Santana Golf Course and El Chaparral Golf Course. Non Members are welcome, whilst tuition and all necessary hire-equipment are available.

La Cala enjoys a typically warm Mediterranean all-year-round climate. As well as being a family friendly destination, it is within easy reach of some of its more famous neighbours such as Malaga City, Puerto Banus, Marbella, Torremolinos , Fuengirola and Ronda making it a good base to explore the whole region .

La Cala de Mijas is a charming fishing village boasting golden sandy beaches,the village remains unspoiled by mass tourism, and promotes a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor living that includes a host of sporting activities such as tennis, golf, lawn bowls, horse-riding and scuba-diving, whilst the village also boasts a number of excellent restaurants serving both local and international cuisine.

Restaurant prices compare favourably compared to neighbouring Costa del Sol destinations such as Puerto Banus and Marbella.

My family and I love nothing more than enjoying beautiful Casa Tricia Villa.

My children love the horse riding in the hills behind La Cala, visiting Fuengirola Zoo,Tivoli World theme park and the Sea life centre in Benalmádena,the 'fun beach' in Marbella is only a 10 minute drive and you can make the most of jet skis, water skiing, para sailing, banana boat rides and many more activities to keep you busy ,the kids love the local beaches and lovely warm sea .

I personally love to sail with many hire opportunities locally as well as playing Golf and Tennis which is available at the Club del Sol ,going to the horse racing at the Hippodrome which provides some of the best horse racing in Spain the fixture list includes daytime and evening meetings.My wife loves shopping in Marbella and Puerto Banus along with scuba diving ,swimming in our own pool as well as enjoying the restaurants and beach bars which are all in La Cala so we can all walk home together without worrying over who is going to drive home or getting expensive taxis every day , so while being able to enjoy the peace and quiet at Casa Tricia Villa you will never be too far from everything you could need. ,but most of all we all love lazing around the pool at Casa Tricia and we are all sure that you will enjoy it as much as we do .

Amazing Villa

8 of us have just returned from out 4 day stay in the villa. We had an amazing time the villa and pool are lovely, so much space to chill out and furnished to a great standard. The outside snug was our favourite place ever, such a wonderful social space. The villa is located very well and close to a large supermarket and only a 5 minute walk to bars and restaurants. Booking the villa was very smooth, the owners very friendly and always happy to answer any questions. We would all love to return again very soon. 5 stars all round.

Relaxing family holiday in a great location.

The villa is very clean and well equipped with lots of space to relax inside and out. I would have liked air conditioning in all bedrooms and blinds at the windows, this would make the villa the perfect place to stay. It was lovely to sit out on the roof terrace with the family enjoying the views and evening BBQ. The villa has a beautiful garden and pool area; I particularly enjoyed the shaded area of the pagoda where you could sit and relax on the comfortable furniture.

Its a short walk into the resort of La Cala, with good supermarkets, bars and restaurants.

Highly recommended - i'm sure we will return

Lovely private villa, in a good location.

The villa was perfect for our family holiday. We especially enjoyed the privacy of the well maintained gardens and pool. Simon and Susan, who manage the property, were very welcoming and extremely helpful.

It is a short walk into the resort of La Cala where there is everything from good supermarkets, restaurants, bars, a taxi rank and lively beach.

Highly recommended - I'm sure we shall be returning.

Beautiful well maintained inside and out, shame about the road.

My husband, daughter and 17year old grandson had a very enjoyable holiday. Middle off July 2016. We have stayed in many villas in Spain over a number off years, casa tricia is up there with the best as regards decor,furniture and space, inside and out the furniture in the pagoda was so comfortable and clean, I want some for home. Suzan and Simon where excellent and very prompt. We would have liked air conditioning in all 3 bedrooms, the celing fan in one off the bedrooms did not work properly, so it made it difficult to sleep.after emailing Peter he was very prompt in getting a couple more floor fans for us. This helped a little. My husband and I where fine as we had air con in main bedroom. The sitting room was great air con perfect.

Such a shame for myself and husband that a road ran alongside the garden area in between the villa and golf course.

We love too relax and read outside. The road made it not the quiet peaceful place that was suggested in the villa details.

With traffic every few minutes. When we used the pool and where chatting it was not such a distraction. We had some evening meals at the ole resturant at the end off the street.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your kind words l am glad you all enjoyed a great stay at my Villa, regarding the road issue you mentioned this road only serves the local Villas and traffic depends on time of year , during peak summer time you will get more people moving around and because it is such a quiet area you can occasionally hear road noise. This is a small trade off for the fact of being close to LA Cala.There is no road noise from the main roads which are located in the town area.

Fabulous Family Holiday

Had a wonderful family holiday in this beautiful villa with my husband, son, daughter in law and 18mth granddaughter. The villa was absolutely spotless thanks to the local agents Simon, his wife Susan and son Sean. The villa was very well maintained and had everything you could possibly need to have a great holiday. Simon, Susan and Sean were easily contactable and answered any queries we had very quickly. They were there if you needed them but this was not necessary as we had no worries or complaints. The gardens and pool area were fantastic and again very well maintained. Would highly recommend this villa without hesitation, you will not be disappointed.

Casa Tricia is a beautiful detached villa set in quiet ,secure and mature private gardens in a well-established residential area with large terraces with private flood lit swimming pool set in its own Mediterranean Gardens of 5000 Sq/Mts. Shaded terraces with table and chairs as well as with ample poolside furniture including sun loungers for guests. BBQ. Magnificent sea views plus golf course views . Numerous areas with mature plants, flowers and trees. private parking space and integral double garage . The villa is fully furnished with 3 large bedrooms all king size beds/luxury sheets and duvets sleeping at least 6 but for extra guests you have a single pull out bed and a blow up double bed . Ground floor level with fully equipped kitchen,outside utility area including washing machine and ironing facilities ,large lounge area with three leather sofas , dining area including table with 8 leather chairs and 2 double bedrooms both with king size beds with ceiling fans bathroom with bath shower over ,walk in shower ,double sinks including hair dryers in both bathrooms. Unlimited Internet access , Sky TV and free movie channels Down stairs master bed room with a king size bed,air/con,en-suite bathroom,walk in shower, double sinks, all leading to large terrace area for BBQ by pool and garden areas. Double garage is not accessible to wheelchair users,but there are two villa entrances and the rear walk in entrance is accessible to wheel chairs Air conditioning in summer, heating in winter. There are two outdoor markets, on Wednesdays and Fridays. There are also many festivals organized by the local Town Hall which are held in the square and on the beaches with music and dancing.

The closest beach is La Cala which is a short few minutes walk . This beach offers plenty of bars, restaurants and shops but if water sports is more your thing the 'fun beach' in Marbella is only a 10 minute drive and you can make the most of jet skis, water skiing, para sailing, banana boat rides and many more! The famous El Hipperdromo Race Course is 2 minutes away and is a fantastic visit in the summer with the horse racing taking place in the evening. Watch the race from the stands or from one of the restaurant’s as the atmosphere is amazing. Casa Tricia is also within a half hour's drive of Puerto Banus and the shopping of Marbella for those who fancy a day, or a night, out. La Cala Market days are Wednesdays and Saturdays. There is currently a coastal walkway being built which will link La Cala to all the coastal villages as far as The villa overlooks the 5th hole of El Chaparral Golf Course which is a beautiful course with a fabulous club house, ideal for a game of golf followed by a spa session at the club! Bus number 220 to Marbella –they run every 15/20 minutes –it is only a short bus ride from Fuengirola ,there is also a airport bus 320 which runs from the airport to Marbella which stops at various towns . La Cala de Mijas has 3 supermarkets including a very good Lidl and Aldi lots of bars and restaurants, offering a variety of cuisines and prices, and beach restaurants where you can sample the freshly grilled sardines and other local delicacies The Costa del Sol is famous for its golf courses and it's easy to see why.
