About the property

This lovely apartment, with a total area of 120m2 and parquet flooring, is located in the real heart of Barcelona, in a peaceful street next to the University of Barcelona and its beautiful gardens. This street has a large number of bars with terraces where, especially during the spring and summer, you will be able to enjoy a refreshing drink and chat with your friends without missing the opportunity of being in the centre of Barcelona.

The apartment can accommodate a maximum of 6 people, with 3 double bedrooms, two with double beds and one with two twin beds. All 3 bedrooms are large and sunny, as is the living-room, which has a chill-out area with two sofas and chest of drawers, and an eating area with a large glass table with chairs right next to the window. There is a separate kitchen, which comes equipped with all the mod-cons, such as a microwave, a dishwasher, a juicer and a toaster.

Lovely, authentic Barcelona! Great 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. Lots of eating establishments nearby. Easy access to hop-on hop-off bus. Owner very easy to work with. Loved the fact that apartment was very safe.

Superb Location

Location is ideal, restaurants and bakery just a few steps away. Since the unit is facing the courtyard and on the 6th floor, it is quiet. We arrived around 20:00 (too late for the management to meet us) so we had to pick up the key at a lock box in a different location, about 20 minute walk from the apartment. We didn't see a folder/booklet of instructions or information in the living room. We had trouble finding the light switch in the foyer (entrance), so the lights in the foyer were on the whole time were there. While one area is bright, one of the bedrooms was dark, meaning no light! Yes, the light was out and the wall sockets didn't work either. We notified the lady but it was not taken care of until we left. I used the flash light on my phone to find things in the room. Other than the darkness in the bedroom, the apartment is quite spacious. The living room is large enough for 6 of us. The kitchen is a good size too, although the only cooking we did was boiling water for tea. My suggestions to the management: do a thorough inspection prior to receiving new guests. If you are not able to meet the guests in person, make sure you let the guests know where to find information/instructions about the unit and/or building. Lastly, address any issue presented by the guest in timely manner.

Location is superb.

If you want to be in the middle of all the action of the city, this is the place to stay. But at the same time it is quiet as it faces the rear of the building on the 6th floor. Beautiful small balcony with a great view. Awesome location. Anyone who complains about this apartment is a snob. Owner and cleaners were very considerate of our check in and check out times since we were dealing with strange flight times and small children. I highly recommend this apartment.

Really enjoyable

We really enjoyed staying here.

We "check-ed in" at night, and got instructions to pickup the key from a location. It was fun to figure out, and the taxi driver was nice enough to make the stop along the way.

We really liked the accommodation and clean rooms and sheets. We picked up milk, eggs, and bread from a local market and had a wonderful breakfast at home before exploring the city. We really enjoyed this place.

At the center of it all!

This location is perfect if you want to be close to it all.

It’s two blocks from the subway so you can get to any site in no time. Same area also has taxi cabs available.

Bars, clubs, restaurants and a grocery store are all within two blocks. Shopping is within 3 blocks.

Three rooms sleep 6. One room has a private restroom and the other two share the second. The apartment has wi-fi. The kitchen is equipped with basic necessities. The washroom provides detergent, a drying rack and iron. You can hang your laundry out and do like the locals.

Access to the building requires a key for the front gate and one for the apartment door. The elevator max is 3 persons. The apartment is on the sixth floor so the stairs to the apartment are a workout.

The apartment is not overly fancy. It has all the necessities for a stay in a centralized spot giving you access to everything. My friends and I enjoyed staying here very much.

Great location and spacious apartment

This spacious apartment is in a great, central location with all you need for an enjoyable City break. 3 generous bedrooms and huge lounge. Well fitted kitchen. 3 generations of my family all enjoyed our time there during our recent visit. All that would be missing is air conditioning if it were any hotter than during our stay. We were made so welcome on our arrival, with a real personal touch, which was gratefully received. We would all recommend this apartment to enjoy Barcelona.
