Beautiful Villa In Provence Between Grimaud And La Garde Freinet

The villa is in the valley between the villages of La Garde Freinet and Grimaud and enjoys fabulous and uninterrupted, panoramic views across the surrounding countryside and down the valley to the Golfe de Saint-Tropez. It is in a very quiet and secluded location, set in 2.5 hectares of its own land. There is wonderful variety of flora and fauna - every spring there is an abundance of nightingales. The villa has its own driveway and garaging for two cars. It is single storey, and laid out around a delightful courtyard. It has four bedrooms, three of which have direct access to outside, and three bathrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed whilst the other three bedrooms have twin beds. There are cots and high-chairs available for babies. The master bathroom has bath, shower, bidet and twin basins; the other two bathrooms have showers and basins.

The large sitting room has computer, WiFi, HD TV, with both French cable tv and English Sky HD (including movie and sports channels) and a high quality surround sound system. It also has a large open fire. There is a fully fitted and very well equipped kitchen, with dishwasher and large modern gas oven and dining table. There is also a large Weber gas barbecue.

There is a separate, covered dining area overlooking the courtyard for summer dining.

The pool is in sun nearly all day, being south facing, and is 10 x 5 metres. There are sunbeds for 8 people.

The garden is well-established and there are many places to relax and enjoy.

There are many kilometres of wonderful walks direct from the house into the valley.

Five minutes drive up the hill is the village of La Garde-Freinet, which has two excellent butchers, two patisseries, and two grocers. There are markets on Wednesdays and Sundays with fresh local produce, flowers, clothing and souvenirs. There is a good wine shop, cafés, bars and restaurants.

Five minutes down the hill brings you to the medieval village of Grimaud, which has many excellent restaurants and interesting art galleries.

Sainte Maxime and Saint-Tropez are just a short drive away.

There is a weekly maid service (with more on request) and a cook can be arranged if needed.

We live in England, but love France, and spend as much time there as we can. We have 6 children and 4 grand children, so the house is very well set up for families.
