Idyllic
This is a beautiful house, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. We were short of nothing. It easily deserves high scores for quality.
Magali and Marc ensured we knew where everything was and about the local area. There is a folder with all the necessary information should it be needed and a plethora of leaflets etc detailing areas of interest to visit.
The house is set in a large garden quarried into the hillside. It has terraces and rock formations that make the garden quite enchanting. There are olive trees, lavender and herbs growing so when you brush past them the aroma is lovely. The pool is large and is shuttered for safety if required for those with children. Neighbouring properties are well screened for privacy. There is ample parking set to the side of the raised garden, so the car is out of sight adding to the tranquillity. The only real noises are the cicadas or the breeze through the trees.
There are 3 double bedrooms and a further double sized room equipped with smaller beds for children. Two living areas mean the younger crowd can disappear and have their own space if needed.
The house is located up a steep hill away from the main village, so a car is needed if you want to go out to get provisions, it'd be a long haul up with heavy bags. There are two restaurants, a pizza restaurant and another called La Fontaine, the latter being an absolute must. It had a small but regularly changing menu. It really is good fare. There are a couple of bars too.
