About the property

A Studio apartment in the heart of Chamonix with everything you may need.

The Property has a pull out full size double bed. It has a TV, Radio CD player. The Kitchen has a fridge, Kettle, Microwave, 2 hob cooker, (no Oven) and a dishwasher. There is ample storage for groceries and the cupboards are stocked with all the crockery/pans that you will require. There is also a large storage in other cupboards in other parts of the studio. There is unlimited hot water and a powerful shower which has all been tiled.

The studio is located facing the river Arve which runs through Chamonix and is just a 2 minute walk to the very centre of town and the local train station as well as the L'Aiguille du Midi lift station.

There is no associated parking, however all along there is free parking across the road. The towns main bus station is just a 3 minute walk which will take you to the slopes or Airport.

We like to personally check-in our customers and aim to greet you when you arrive in Chamonix. If this is not possible we will give you a detailed explanation in order for you to self check-in. We will always be contactable in the event a problem may arise and will try to meet you before you leave Chamonix. If a late check-in (after 9pm) is unavoidable then a €30.00 late check-in fee may be charged.

We also take a €200/£200 damage deposit by PayPal when you book and return it to you about a week after you check out.

Nice little studio flat, well kitted out, good location

My 3rd time of visiting this apartment and still a great place to stay for short or long visits, ideal for 1 or 2 people. Bed very comfortable, good central location in Chamonix Sud, Clean and well maintained. Only issues were the hot water was coming through brown for a couple of days, TV didn't work, toilet flush not working properly, Wifi went down for 7 days but the owners lent me a dongle so that wasn't an issue.

Small but perfectly formed!

The apartment is small but had everything I needed and was in a fantastic location to act as a base for skiing. It was really straightforward to get into and was clean and tidy. The only thing it is lacking is a ski locker.

Nice apartment with a good view

Enjoyable stay in Balme apartment. Ideal for anyone travelling on their own. Very close to Aguille Du Midi, bus station and the town centre. Fantastic views of Mont Blanc and other mountains on a clear day. The owner was very helpful and I would highly recommend visiting Chamonix.

small and compact but adequate for our needs

Small apartment (look bigger in picture) with pull down sofa bed and small kitchen. No frills but adequate for a week with a mix of eating out and the odd meal in. Nice outlook with mountain views and central location, although a little noisey at times with the odd reveller and refuse collectors arriving very very early. Small shower but modern and lots of hot water. Apprartment was in need of a good clean, lots of dust!

Key pad entrance on door was a pain as it seldom worked first time and a wait of 20 seconds or so was required until it reset itself, but never got locked out!

Advertised as having dishwasher but there was not one! Small two ring cooker, microwave and small electric oven. Not many cups. plates or glasses, just enough for two.

NIce small apartment. Perfect location. Not overly clean.

NIce small apartment. Perfect location close to Midi cablecar. Was not cleaned very well (Floor not cleaned, e.g. food crumbs and coffee stains. Some dirty dishes). Responsive caretaker. Not very insulated against outside noise, but not a big deal.

Super bien situé

L'appartement est sympa, pratique pour un séjour à 2 ! Il est à quelques mètres du centre ville, des lignes de bus, bowling, bars ... enfin tous ce dont on a besoin ! Pour faire les courses, locations de skis ... des magasins sont juste à côté de l'appartement également.
