Spacious 2 bedroom apartment in Musicians Quarter of Nice

This beautiful 85 sqm apartment, is located on the 5th floor of a stunning 1910's Haussmann style building in the heart of the Musicians quarter of central Nice. Recently renovated to a high standard, the apartment consists of a sitting room, separate dining room (seats 6), modern well equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and bathroom with separate bath and shower. One of the bedrooms has a double bed, while the second room has 2 single beds. Each bedroom faces inner courtyard.

Provided in the apartment: high speed internet, flat screen TV, Apple TV, Netflix, washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, kettle, coffee, toaster, hair-dryer and Dyson air cool units in both bedrooms. Bedlinen and towels are provided, however guest are asked to provide their own beach towels.

The apartment is situated in the centre of the Musicians' Quarter of Nice which is famed for its elegant buildings, quiet streets and proximity to the Promenade and its beaches, Old Town and main Nice train station. Within a few minutes walk are an excellent bakery, supermarkets, Nice Etoile Shopping centre and Galeries Lafayette (both on Avenue Jean Medecin) and the elegant shops of rue Alphonse Karr. The apartment could not be better situated for easy access to public transportation and is a short 10 minute walk from Nice main train station, and less than 5 minutes from the tram stop on Avenue Jean Medicin. Electric cars and bikes (velos bleu) are both found in close proximity. The nearest public parking garage is located 5 minutes walk away on rue Alphonse Karr, we are happy to provide more details on rates and location.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Nice

We stayed here for 11 nights in June 2016, we were joined by our two adult children for 6 nights of our holiday. The apartment is very comfortable and easily spacious enough for 4 adults, the photographs on the HomeAway sight are an absolute true picture of the decor and cleanliness of the apartment. Very well equipped with everything needed for a break away. There was some lovely little touches too, the L'Occitane toiletries in the bathroom and chilled bottle of water and wine in the fridge, which was lovely as we arrived quite late in the evening due to a flight delay.

Nice is a beautiful city to visit and this apartment is so well situated to explore the city and the surrounding area. There is a small supermarket right outside the door, with a Monoprix less than 5 minutes walk, as is the heart of the shopping area. The Promenade des Anglais, just over 10 mins away and the railway station is less than a 10 minute walk with regular trains to Monaco and Cannes.

Communication with Jane, the owner, was fantastic and her prompt replies on any questions we had, made the preparations and the actual holiday run extremely smoothly. Claire who met us with the apartment keys was also very helpful.

I would highly recommend this beautifully decorated apartment in the heart of Nice and we would have no hesitation in returning to it the next time we visit this beautiful city.

Excellent stay in a beautiful apartment

The apartment was fantastic and the photos provided on the Home Away site gave an excellent reflection of what it is, we stayed here six nights in late march. There are high ceilings, lovely to have balconies opening into the living and dining rooms. , it was nice to open them up to let fresh air in. The unit is brand new as are all of its contents, looks like it was done up by a designer.

Really enjoyed all the thought that went into ensuring the place had all the needed touches / accessories that made the stay very comfortable and convenient. All utensils, cooking pots, dishes and glasses provided. We had breakfast every day in the unit, for a more relaxing start to the day.

There is a dishwasher and washer for clothes (drying rack).

Beds were very comfortable. Bedrooms were very quiet as the windows face an inside courtyard.

The bathroom was also fitted out with great features such as the large shower, separate large tub, and the heating rack for towels.

Great space, very comfortable and spacious for a family of four (two older kids) ‎. It was really nice to come home after a day of touring and be able to relax and unwind in a larger space. We very much enjoyed staying here over a hotel stay.

Claire was great, met us at the apartment to give us the keys and to explain items in the unit.

For some tips on location: there are two grocery stores one at the corner and a larger one down about three(short) blocks the Monoprix.... The street the Monoprix is on, is one of the major shopping streets and the Tram runs along it. Also, there are bakeries all around, the closest is about two streets on the left side going towards the Monoprix.

Getting here from the airport, we took the 99 bus, it was six Euro per person and took about 15-20 minutes. Very easy. The bus drops you off in front of the train station and it is about 2-3 blocks away. The bus going back to the airport-the earliest one is at 8 am so plan accordingly.

We took the trains a couple of days and it was very easy. if you can't figure out the machines there is an office on the far left side of the station, just take a number and someone will do up your tickets.

The location is very convenient to walk to the shopping areas, the beach, the market in the old town.

We had an amazing time, and would highly recommend staying in this beautiful apartment.

Tolles Appartment in Nice

Wir verbrachten zehn herrliche Tage in Nizza. Es war extrem heiss in Nizza, so dass die Ventilatoren nur leichte Abkühlung brachten. Eine Klimaanlage wäre wünschenswert. Das Appartment war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der gesamte Haus (Hausflur, Aufzug) ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind goss und hell.Es gibt drei kleine französische Balkone mit gutem Ausblick über die Dächer von Nizza.Das Bad ist ordentlich und sauber. Die ganze Einrichtung ist sehr stylisch und modern. Die Schlüsselübergabe ging schnell und problemlos.

Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr gut. Die Altstadt, die shopping-street und das Meer sind mit kurzen Fusswegen (5min.) zu errreichen. Ein kleiner Supermarkt direkt gegenüber. Wir können diese Wohnung mit gehobenem Standart sehr weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen gern wieder.

A very nice, perfectly equipped apartment in Nice

The place is great, very well located, very quiet in a beautiful, typical residential area with all the facilities one might need right on the doorstep.

Gorgeous old house in good condition. Very quiet.

Ten to twelve minutes walk to the sea - ten minutes to the train station.

The apartment is newly renovated, very tasteful and equipped with everything you need.

It is located on the fifth floor with elevator.

We were five days with three people in this apartment (there are two completely separated bedrooms) and have felt very comfortable.

Contact with the owner Jane was very nice, helpful, immediately and without complications. The handover of the apartments and the settlement in Nice with Claire was very friendly, helpful and uncomplicated.

Overall, we had a very nice, pleasant stay and can recommend the apartment and the owner without limitation.

Elegantes Pied a terre comme Il faut

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt, es ist mit Liebe und Styl eingerichtet, sauber, meist ruhig.

Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in direkter Nähe, zur Promenade des Anglais aber auch zu Museen wie Matisse ( ein wenig lieblos) und Chagall nur Fusswegentfernung, ein Domizil zu dem man gerne wieder zurückkehrt!
