Les Orangers is a unique, beautiful, charming apartment with secluded private garden, 300 meters to the Promenade and the beaches. Ideally located in the vibrant center to explore Nice and the French Riviera, it is situated in a very quiet street lined with orange trees. All the attractions of Nice (Fresh Produce Market, Supermarket, Restaurants, Boutiques, Cafes, Pedestrian Zone and Beaches) are within walking distance, a car is definitely not needed. The apartment is 60 square meters and has been tastefully furnished and decorated in bright colours to create a Provencal ambiance. Train and bus stations are very close for day trips and Nice airport. Bon séjour!

Open plan with living room. It contains 2 fridge freezers, 2 sinks, four-ring halogen cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron, ironing board, cafetiere and a large amount of crockery, cutlery, glassware. Lots of utensils, washing things supplied.

UTILITY ROOM

Big metal cabinet in the garden. Contains cleaning utensils - bucket, mop, cloths, etc

LIVING ROOMS

Sitting room with beautiful tiled floors, 3 seater leather sofa, antique chest of drawers with a marble top. TV/Video/DVD, Sony Personal Docking system, Audio radio/cassette player. 2 elegant standing lamps next to the sofa, coffee table with marble top.

OTHER

Private garden, 35 sq m. Wooden decking and trellises. Large fig tree, palm tree, laurel tree. The outdoor table with chairs, 3 seater bench and a chaise lounge are perfect for enjoying coffee and breakfast in the shade. Please see photos on website.

CLEANING/TOWELS/LINEN/MAID SERVICE

Prices include all electricity, gas, water, linen, Beach, bathroom and kitchen towels. Cleaning fee €50 is given to the agent in the flat when collecting the keys.

In the wardrobe there is plenty towels, bedding, bathmats, beach mats.

ACCESSIBILITY

Welcome to Les Orangers, a quiet haven in bustling Nice centre with a private secluded garden, ideally situated to explore whole of French Riviera. You will love having breakfast in our garden, ideal for children! It never gets too hot in summer in the apartment thanks to its high ceilings and `traversant` windows which open to the south (our garden), and to the north (neighbour’s garden). Our bathroom has 2 hand washbasins which is very convenient for a family! There are 2 sinks and 2 fridges in the kitchen, which you will appreciate as a time saver. Wundervolle Wohnung in super Lage

Die Lage ist einfach absolut top. "Mittendrin" und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Trotz der völlig unschlagbaren Lage -wenige Meter von der Promenade des Anglais mochte man die Wohnung bei all dem Komfort am liebsten gar nicht verlassen. In der Umgebung befinden sich drei Supermärkte: ‚Casino’, super ‚U’ und ‚Intermarche’, wo man einkaufen kann. Der Bus 23 von Airport Terminal 1 bringt Sie bis zur Haltestelle ‚Gambetta/…’ zum Preis von 1,50 oder sogar 1,00 Euro. Die Fahrt dauert ca. 25 min. Die Wohnung bietet ein gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis.

Einfach perfekt

Das Apartment lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Die Örtlichkeit besticht sowohl durch seine Nähe zum Strand, wie auch zur nahebei gelegenen Innenstadt. Das Apartment selbst ist tipptopp und somit wirklich zu empfehlen. Ich fühlte mich ganz wie Zuhause, sehr sauber und schön ausgestattet. Es mangelt an nichts. Ich würde das Apartment selbstverständlich gerne wieder in Anspruch nehmen.

Amazing holidays with Les Orangers

Stayed there over last weekend with our daughter during the May holidays, we enjoyed the great location of the apartments (5 minutes walk to the The Promenade beach and same to the bus stops), the amazing patio/garden ideal for celebrating a big barbeque event or just a romantic evening together and also the unique hospitality of the owner! This 2 bedroom apartment we found very cosy, clean and well equipped for the family with different needs. And the most exciting factor - the other apartments in the same area you will find at the much-much higher price. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic!

It's a cosy place, where you can have a rest. And the location is convenient. Not expensive. There are various means of entertainment - golf, museums, ski centre, horse riding and others. I liked this place and will recommend to my friends and relatives.

A pleasant stay in ideal location

We were pleasantly surprised that apartment description given on this site was correct, and it was even better in reality. Me and my husband agreed that we were very lucky indeed to find this gem in Nice centre. Ideal for us, as we both have mobility difficulties. No steps, or porches, or hills to walk. Level of cleanliness is suprisingly high for France, where everyone is trying to cut corners. Not here, spotless!

Mountains of towels, mountains of bedding. All you need for the beach. All you can think of in the kitchen, even a juicer!

We loved warm colours on the walls, comfortable bed, two kinds of pillows - feather, and synthethic. Antique furniture, beautifully framed mirrors - for us it was home from home.

The owner kindly offerd us to use all the food products in the kitchen, which was very nice of her. She also gave us advice what to see in Riviera.

The best thing of course is the charming garden with birds singing in the morning. It was warm enough to sit in this little heaven in the afternoon, in the sunshine.

We would definitely come back and will recommend Les Orangers to our friends.

Horse riding, walking holidays. Ask the tourist information in the train station for guidance. Tango, salsa and ballroom dancing are very popular in Nice, you can find somewhere to dance every night of the week. Cookery courses in the area.

How to get there

Frequent cheap flights from most international airports to Nice make it easy to travel to and from Terminal 1, stance 6 to bus stop Gambetta/Bottero. From Terminal 2, buses 98 and 99 for €4 to the Boulevard Gambetta stop. Please print out the map from our website. There is no need to hire a car but if you do, you can park it near the apartment or in the multi story secure car park 200 meters away. Taxis available at the airport, journey less than ten minutes, no more than €25/ €30.

Distances

Apartment is in a fantastic location of Boulevard Gambetta, one of two main Boulevards in Nice. Everything that you need is on your doorstep. You can easily explore Cannes, Monaco, Antibes, Eze and other pretty villages near Nice for just one €1.50 bus fare, the bus station is a 15 min walk. Italy is very close and accessible by bus or train which are the cheapest way to travel.

Further Details

14 museums, Nice National Theatre, and Château hill are a short walk away. The colourful daily flower and local produce market (The Cours Saleya) runs from Tuesday to Saturday with antiques on Monday. Ventimiglia market in Italy operates on a Friday. You can walk to Old Town in 15-20 minutes.
