Ein wunderschönes Feriendomizil in Pernes-la-Fontaines

Seit nunmehr 18 Jahren fahren wir in die Provence mit einer größeren Gruppe von Ehepaaren. Diesmal (Okt. 2016) in das Haus von Kirsty und Simon, der ein phantastischer Vermieter ist. Bei Ankunft hat uns Simon herzlich, mit vielen und guten Tipps, einer reich gefüllten Obstschale, sowie schönen Blumenarragements und einem leckeren Wein im Kühlschrank, begrüßt. Wir waren begeistert von dem geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus in einem liebenswerten Ort in der Provence. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und alle Geräte, Pfannen, Kochtöpfe laden zum täglichen Kochen ein, wenn da nicht auch die vielen guten Restaurants wären, die man natürlich auch gerne besucht. Der Garten hat zum Sonnenbaden eingeladen, mit optimaler Ausrichtung nach Süden. Zum Einkaufen kann man das Auto ruhig stehenlassen, denn alle Geschäfte sind gut zu Fuss zu erreichen und das Angebot ist auch noch im Oktober überwältigend. Die Betten und Bettwäsche ist hochwertig und luxuriös. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

A fabulous week in a beautiful home

The house is picturesque, very spacious and beautifully furnished and everything you could possibly need is included. Pernes is a gorgeous town and the house is perfectly situated in a quiet street, moments away from the main attractions. We were very sad to leave. Thank you to Simon and Kirsty for being so helpful and thoughtful. It made our holiday extra special.

What's not to love?! Truely wonderful experience!

Honestly the best place and most welcoming holiday we have had! The house is beautiful, comfortable, relaxed yet very stylish. I loved the detail, the high quality throughout and the huge thoughtfulness of Simon and family, huge thanks! As a guest you have everything you could want plus some extras that really makes this place stand out, like luxury linen, fantastic sound systems, a gym, wine on arrivval etc. I loved it and would love to be back there, thank you!

Fabulous

We were met on arrival by Simon and a very welcome bottle of local wine. After showing us around the impeccable and beautiful house we knew we wouldn't have a problem settling in and enjoying this amazing home. The property is finished to a very high standard and we wanted for nothing. We are passionate about cooking and were delighted with the collection of herbs, spices and cooking utensils available.

We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this property and will definitely return. Simon and Kirsty's property met and exceeded our expectations and succeeded in leaving us with fabulous memories of our Provence holiday.

Perfection in Provence!

Where to begin?!! We arrived and were greeted by the owner Simon, who showed us the house and amenities and he had a bottle of Rose waiting for us. We were a group of 8, including 2 children, and the house easily accommodated all of us without feeling crowded. The interior design is amazingly detailed and gorgeous, yet comfortable and accessible.

This house is perfectly situated in Provence for fantastic day trips. If you have not been, do not miss the Pont du Gard – about an hour away. There are many small village markets to visit in the area and many historical sites as well.

I cannot recommend the house enough – the perfect place to experience Provence!

lovely house - beautifully restored and furnished

Easy to find town house on the immediate edge of the old town walls of beautiful and historic Pernes-les-Fontaines. Met Simon the owner at the property who greeted us with a bottle and ran us through the essentials. The house is recently restored to a very high standard and beautifully furnished including a great cook's kitchen and a gym. The bedrooms are large and almost all en-suite or with their own dedicated bathroom. The garden and pool area is a decent size given that this a town house with plenty of sun all day and through into the evening. Great stay - we loved it!

We have been looking for a house like this for several years and were very excited when we eventually found it. Built in the late 18th century with an addition in the early 19th century this house contains all the original typical Provencal features. Built out of stone with original floor tiles and fireplace etc. We have modernised the bathrooms and kitchen whilst keeping all the original features with end result of a typical Provencal village house with 21st century improvements. At the heart of Provence and the Luberon with quick access to major historical sites and villages: 10 minutes from the Isle sur la Sorgue and its Antique Markets 20 minutes from Avignon and its festival in July 25 min from Châteauneuf-du-Pape and vineyards 25 minutes from Orange and its Chorégies 30 minutes from Gordes, St Remy de Provence and many other charming Provencal villages 20 minutes to the Mont Ventoux and it's famous climb for cyclists 45 minutes from Uzes and it's heritage 50 minutes from Aix en Provence and its shops and museums 50 min from the Roque-d'Anthéron and its international piano festival 60 minutes from Marseille
