Our bright and overlooking the valley of the River Sangro from the balcony offers a breathtaking view of the massif of the Maiella.
The view is really unique because it stretches of rock are nestled in the hills and there are hidden villages like Pietraferrazzana, Montenero, Torricella, Gessopalena and many others. Then further on, at the top it develops the Maiella mountain!

The house located right in the center, with a long balcony and a view of the beautiful church of 1600 with bell tower, has all the shops below, including the central bar in Piazza di Lilia and an excellent bakery in the square that makes sweets and typical great pizzas.!
Lanciano, about half an hour, is a town with a beautiful historical course full of shops and is famous for the Eucharistic Miracle, (first half of the seventh century D C) preserved in the church of San Francesco. Worth a visit to the Roman vestiges and to the beautiful ancient churches: the Basilica of the Madonna del Ponte, built on the three-arch bridge of Diocletian and the church of Santa Maria Maggiore, one of the most important monuments of Abruzzo.
I advise you not to miss the trip to the beautiful Abbey of San Giovanni in Venere which rises on a Roman temple of Venus and has a fabulous view of the sea. It is located above the village Rocca SAN GIOVANNI.
I recommend visiting Ortona on the sea, a cheerful town full of shops and a good panoramic restaurant
A trip to Gamberale 1000 m high deserves to see the deer kept in the park (it can be reached in about half an hour by car). Also passing through Quadri you can buy truffles!

Bello Castello di Atessa and I recommend the refined La Castellana restaurant in the rooms of the castle. I also recommend La Quercia and the Farmer, near Bomba, the Diavoletto in Selva di Altino and the Old Hill near Sant'Eusanio (book first). In Santa Maria I recommend the Le Ginestre restaurant.
The typical dishes are the cacio and ova eggs and the homemade recipe with the ragù, mixed grilled meats with lamb etc
