About the Owner

Alison and Philip Perry, along with their three daughters welcome you to stay in The Boathouse.

We are both local, and have lived and worked in Pembrokeshire all our lives.

We were fortunate enough to be able to build The Boathouse in 2007, and have lived in the property for the past 5 years. However the arrival of twin daughters means we have now outgrown it. We have rented a larger house locally and intend to expand The Boathouse in the future to accommodate us.

We very much hope you will come and enjoy our property. Thank you The Perry's.

A lovely bright, comfortable and warm house

  • 5 of 5

Having the best of the weather in April we loved the close proximity of the beach, great walks with the dog when the tide was out, covering the entire length of Freshwater East, people we met were friendly, most also with dogs too. The outside garden furniture was comfortable and in use for five days of our week, amazingly lucky, lunch and evening drinks in the sun, blissful. The king size bed was super comfortable, the shower excellent. The kitchen had all the essentials although the microwave seemed to have a mind of it's own but was manageable just for heating 'stuff' 'The outside area was safe for both children and dogs being enclosed with wrap around fencing.

Alison Perry is a lovely lady, kind and very helpful when we needed her. We have no hesitation in recommending 'The Boathouse' for a fantastic beach holiday for everyone.

windy, wet yet wonderful

The place is amazing: enormous amount of space, excellent floorplan, brilliant fireplace.

The place is super close to the beach, wich offers a surf able break.

I could not ask for more.

Definitely would recommend it.

Fell in love with Pembrokeshire

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful property, Stunning views. We loved the beach sunrise, pony neighbours, crisp white bedding. Within a few mins drive we were in Stackpole/Barafundle beach , Broadhaven beach, Bosherston Lakes and Skrinkle Haven. All worth a visit . Freshwater East beach 1 min walk! We want to stay again.

The perfect beach-side retreat

  • 4 of 5

A very impressive property with excellent open-plan living room/kitchen, set very close to the most beautiful stretch of beach. Open a bottle of wine and watch the rabbits leap around.

A stunning property in a beautiful location

  • 5 of 5

My partner and I recently rented the Boat House for a long weekend and it really is a beautiful home in a fabulous location. We were lucky enough to have great weather and the situation of the Boat House ensures that you can find a sunny spot at any time during the day and admire the views of the bay and sea or rolling green hills with its abundance of birds and wildlife. Wonderful.

The property is finished to a very high standard, is clean and elegantly furnished and the kitchen is a great cook’s kitchen. Alison was on hand to answer any questions, if/when required.

Freshwater East beach is beautiful and there are other wonderful beaches nearby, including the stunning Barafundle Bay. A visit to Tenby, with its pastel cliff-top houses and beautiful sandy beach, is also recommended. There are lots of great restaurants within a short driving distance and we particularly loved “Coast” at Saundersfoot and “The Stackpole Inn”.

We hope to return very soon for a longer stay!

The perfect holiday accommodation.

  • 5 of 5

The perfect holiday accommodation for the beach and local attractions. A well presented house set just 100m from the beach.

Driveway has enough room for cars and boat. We like walking with our dog and the Pembrokeshire coast path passes right by the door, Barafundle Bay well worth a visit.

For children's entertainment, Oakwood, Folly Farm, Bluestone are just a few to mention along with many others and of course there is the beach on the doorstep.

Will certainly book again!
