The renouned Old Head of Kinsale Links course is within 10 kms and Kinsale Golf Club which has an 18 hole course within 5 kms.

Guided Walks with the gorgeous scenic Scilly Walk which will take you up over the Harbour ending at the famous Bulman Pub in Summercove (Beginning/End of Wild Atlantic Way). A quick refreshment in the Bulman will give you energy to continue up to Charles Fort.

Lovely apartment in the centre of Kinsale. Secure underground parking. Lovely town.

The apartment is comfortable and well furnished, the kitchen equipped to a good standard, and the secure underground parking invaluable in a town where parking is at a premium. Kinsale is a busy, attractive old fishing and sailing town. Singing pubs and good eating places abound, good walks, and many places to visit. We used the Park and Drive facility to visit Cork city. The owner was very helpful. Highly recommended.

Amazing apartment in perfect location

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kinsale. The apartment is spacious and clean and all on one level so very handy for our 2 young boys. Close to loads of shops and bars/restaurants as well as the marina itself.

Perfect place for a family holiday

No.54 Shearwater, Kinsale was the perfect spot for our family holiday. The apartment is situated opposite Kinsale Marina and it was beautiful to sit having breakfast in the morning and watch the harbour cruise and yachts come and go. The development is set around open courtyards so its very appealing to families. We were holidaying for a week, my husband was sailing and I had our three young boys to entertain! We arrived late on a saturday evening with tired and starving children I was so surprised to see how well this apartment was kitted out. There was food in the cupboards and pizza in the freezer, we instantly felt like we were home. Gerardine and Kevin have thought of absolutely everything when it comes to the facilities in this property, you can function exactly like you would in your own home and its all there waiting for you, from toilet paper in the loos to tea bags on the countertop. Its for this reason No.54 Shearwater will offer you an instantly relaxing break. The apartment is absolutely spotless, the decor is bright, modern, crisp and very complimentary to the beautiful location it is part of. The beds are extremely comfortable, the linen is crisp white with comfy duck down duvets and pillows. The kids room was perfect with bunk beds and it was a very safe environment for them. Ok theres no balcony as such but you don't actually need one because of the way the development has been designed around various courtyards theres plenty of outside space in the complex. The floor to ceiling windows in the living room where my favourite offering views over the bay. In terms of its location in Kinsale it couldn't be more accessible. We were right bedside the playground, the fairground and Actons leisure centre were my kids swam for hours on rainy days (€6 per child entry fee). We had mixed weather in Kinsale but that didn't matter there was plenty to occupy the kids right on our doorstep. For the few good days we had we spent them on Dock Beach which is a 3 minute drive from the apartment. Another big benefit of this property is the ground floor parking space, as parking in Kinsale can be tricky. Dealing with Geraldine was so easy and so professional, everything just runs so smoothly. It really felt like home to me, I was genuinely sad when I turned the key for the last time in No.54 and promised myself I will definitely come back.

First rate apartment and beautifully located and appointed.

Again superb location . Apartment beautifully laid out. Furnishings and decor to the highest standard. Two bathrooms were much appreciated and fully equipped kitchen. Instructions and key delivery. All dealings with the owners extremely courteous and pleasant.
