One of the best

  • 5 of 5

One of the best villa's we've stayed in, clean & well equipped with a superb BBQ area. Due to there being a lot of rain prior to & during our stay, bed linen felt damp, altho' I doubt this would be a problem when the weather is as it should be! Garden very private, well maintained & with wonderful views. Swimming pool clean & well maintained, with a weekly visit from the "pool man". Excellent maid service, with clean towels twice a week & change of bed linen weekly. A problem with hot water was dealt with promptly. Annex was clean & well appointed, altho' we did feel a bit remote from the main house. Garden pond might be a problem for over adventerous toddlers, but we had no problem with a 2 1/2 year old. A car is essential. Drive/parking area a bit tight, particularly with more than one car, altho' there is a parking bay just outside the gates. Restaurants & beaches only 15 minutes or so by car, there are non within walking distance. Would we stay there again? Most certainly.

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed your stay but sorry about the weather. We always appreciate comments and suggestions from our guests. We try and upgrade the villa every year. This past winter we have refurbished the swimming pool, replanted a large bed in the garden and put in more trees to protect the privacy of visitors. We have also installed an enormous swing set for children in the garden. In the coming year we are planning to install a gazebo at the top of the field to take full advantage of the magnificent view, to install a 'horse' tyre swing for children on one of the the fig trees, to provide a table tennis table for the use of guests. We will also continue to make improvements in the garden The point made about the pond is an important one and we are conscious of the dangers to small children. We will install an alarm system for the swimming pool, which is unfenced. As for the fishpond, we don't intend to fence it in, but we will put up warning signs to ensure toddlers are always supervised in the garden. We hope to Welcome Kentish lad back again.

We've just got back from our second summer holiday at Ca'n Colina. For a family holiday this is the best villa we have ever stayed in. The pictures don't do it justice. The villa has everything you could need; large pool, great bbq area, hot tub, extensive gardens with numerous areas to find shade or sit down.

The children loved the swings and the hammock by the pool. There is also free wifi, tv and DVD player with a huge collection of films to choose from.

The kitchen is well equipped. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and two of the bathrooms are very modern. My parents stayed in the annex which was a nice space for them to retreat to for some peace and quiet away from the grandchildren.

The views of the sea and the mountains from the villa are lovely.

You definitely need a car but both Alcudia and Pollensa are within a 10 minute drive where you'll find the beach, restaurants, supermarkets etc.

We have already booked to go again next summer.

Amazing Hols in a home setting

  • 5 of 5

I don't even know where to start but this is an amazing holiday.Sue has been a great owner and provided every help she could have offered. As we are a group with two young children, Sue left milk, bread , butter, even bottled water and a nice note to help us settle quickly. Thank you!

The Villa created a very relaxed setting with everything we were looking for as a young family. We spent lots of time in the pool with lots of sun, and the children loved feeding the fish in the pond and counting mini frogs. The view is beautiful with mountains and sea. It is a great get away from city life.

The BBQ is very convenient. It is a short drive to Alcudia's shops as well as beach which is beautiful, so very easy to get around.

We are looking forward to get back to the Villa sometime soon.

Lovely villa, highly recommended by us!

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely time at Ca'n Colina, we visited with 4 adults and 4 children aged from 5 to 12 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The villa is very well equipped and nicely laid out, very clean and has a fantastic facilities for the kids. We had lots of fun in the pool and playing table tennis in the large porch.

The garden is beautiful and has an amazing pond which had lots of little frogs and fish in, which my 5 year old daughter found highly entertaining.

The views are stunning, an amazing backdrop of the mountains and sea, makes for an unforgettable stay. I have stayed at a few different villas in Spain before, but this has become my favourite by far.

We highly recommend this property, and the owners are lovely too, very easy to talk to and quick to reply to any correspondence.

We look forward to renting Ca'n Colina again in the future and hope that will not be too far away!

arrived late so couldn't really appreciate this marvelous house until first light. we arrived about half past midnight . we were concerned about no water milk tea bags etc but arrived to all of those things so i had a beer! the others had tea . then off to bed . awoke to glorious sun and to an AMAZING house. huge comfortable 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms huge bed in the main bedroom which helps me as im over 2 meters.also there is a annex which is great, plenty of space

lovely pool-and this perfect cooking area overlooking the kids in the pool and the misses sunbathing whilst having a beer. amazing views across Puerto pollensa . my table tennis and dart game has improved!! . air-con doted around the house .we did get a visit from the cleaner and Gardner who were very friendly .

parking for two cars . There is a turning place just after the entrance , what we did after a day out was to drive past the gate turn around and reverse up the drive. we stayed up playing cards late ,getting up when we wanted and straight in the pool there is an outside toilet which is great if the kids need it and there wet from the pool. i don't normally write reviews as you can prob tell .. but i had too for this great house . 10 min from the main strip and beach (car is a must) . sue the owner is very helpful and replies to emails very quickly .. definitely recommend this villa for its character location pool etc . for us this holiday was perfect-- Steve

beautiful villa and garden

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time. The villa is very comfortable and so much space ! The garden is beautifully kept. The children had the best holiday, spending most of there time in the pool and us admiring the beautiful view ! The drive to the closest villages for restaurants and shops is very easy as to the beaches. Thanks again for a wonderful time.
