Situated in St Jeannet, next to Vence, amidst the renowned golden triangle of the Cote D'Azur, in the south of France, this 200 sqm large superbly furnished villa recently renovated and up graded, accommodates up to 4 person and has 2 bedrooms- ( A 3rd bed room is available on request), 2 bathrooms, dining room, large lounge with fire place, American kitchen with dining space for 6 pers,and a out door terrace with dining space for up to 8 pers, with a stunning 180 degree sea view from east to west.

Surrounded by nature in a conservation area, the villa offers total privacy and quietness, located only 10 min walk from the old village of St Jeannet , 6 km from Vence and St Paul de Vence,15 minutes to Nice International Airport and the sea. 20 min to Nice or Cannes. Internet WIFI broad band access available and Sat televison, radio CD and dvd.

The Villa is close to everything you need:

The Villa is also situated very close to some popular Ski resorts, like Isola 2000, Auron and Valberg, only 1- 1,5 hour away by Car. The resorts are normally open from December to April.

You could practice Swimming, Golfing and skiing in one and the same day

Extra bed room availability (RD bed room): The published rates include the usage of 2 bed rooms. If you want to use the 3rd bed room kindly ask the owner.

Peaceful 2 week stay

You can immediately see how well maintained the property is with manicured gardens, lots of flowers and herbs in the window boxes. Loved how charming the setting was with modern ammenities: good wifi, water pressure and modern furnishings. Never got tired of the views to Nice on outside porch, from windows in kitchen and poolside. There is plenty of hiking in hills or leisurely walk into town for bread, quiche, cheese and wine. The owner makes it easy to rent and well worth it!

Heaven in the Hills..!

First of all let me say, the property is so much more than can be described in words. As you come up the driveway you instantly feel at ease. The layout of the property lends to a resort feel, yet cosy somehow. Bedrooms are large and cozy, living room is perfect size with an amazing fireplace to provides plenty of warmth all by itself. Living room has flat screen tv with all the cable channels you need including English channels. Kitchen is a large American style kitchen, with plenty of cabinet space and large fridge and freezer. Pretty much all you need is located in St Jeannet, or a quick trip down the hill to the carrefour. The property is very nicely maintained by The caretaker, who is down the hill anytime you need anything. Stefan the property owner is available and genuinely cares about your stay, property is outside of St. Jeannet and St. Paul De Vence. Still close to Nice, Canne

A house we certainly would wish to return to

The villa offers great value for money. It is large, very comfortable, with a fantastic view over the Riviera. It was clean and well maintained, with all facilities you need for a great vacation.

The pool area and the garden is comfortable and attractive, inviting you to stay at the villa, instead of touring the area.

The house keeper who lives next door was very attentive and took well care of us, on arrival and during our stay.

The area around St Jeannet offers a variation of Restaurants, shops and supermarket, and is only 10 minutes away from the beach and the busy coast of the Riviera.

We stayed in the house for a week, but wished we could have stayed much longer!

Great stay!

Just spent a wonderful week in St Jeanette with my children in this house that lived up to our expectations. The views are some of the best you can get on the coast. St Paul de Vence is just around the corner and it was quick access to Cannes,Antibes,Nice and Monaco.

Hope to come back again at some point

A wonderful house/place we would love to return to

In the beginning of April 2013 we spent a wonderful week in the house, which is situated in a calm area near Vence and with a great view over the Mediterranean Sea from Cap Ferrat in the east to the Antibes in the west..

The house had recently been renovated and was in a perfect condition, and all the necessary equipment were there together with modern facilities such as TV, Wi-Fi etc., so we only had to fill up the fridge. Next to the kitchen there is a terrace where we enjoyed our breakfast in the sun and the stunning view.

The pool area is completely private and has the same wonderful view over the river Var valley and the sea. In connection with the pool there is a fireplace and even a real finish sauna.

The area is perfect for hiking and the picturesque village St. Jeanet, which has charming small restaurants in its narrow streets, is within walking distance. The nearby town Vence is excellent for daily shopping and has many good restaurants.

It is certainly a house we would like to come back to!

My Private Villa

If you want a dream holiday in your own villa, this is it.

I have returned every year since 2005 for 3 weeks in May. Each time I feel I'm returning to my meticulously maintained home, the house spotless, the ground manicured, the pool sparkling. The views of the Mediterranean and Pre-Alpes to die for.

After a meet and greet with the care-keepers who live nearby, we're on our own. I know they're available if we have any problems, but we never have had any.

Now this may not be important to most guests, but for me, having been a professional chef de cuisine, the kitchen is critical. What I found was a very functional, well appointed modern kitchen; a complete pleasure to create in. It is light and airy with the best views from the window. We always dined in the kitchen, but there is a formal dining room if you are so inclined. With all the wonderful local produce and the fabulously serene location of the villa I think we dined in more than out.

The village of St Jeannet is a charming walled medieval hill village with the best thin crust pizzeria, wonderful bakery, butcher and green grocer. It is only a very pleasant walk away. One could spend their whole holiday between here and the villa if walking, hiking, and drinking coffee on the villa or St Jeannet's terraces is what you want. There are challenging hikes up the Baou de St Jeannet if you're so inclined.

But the south of France.... Picasso, Renoir, Matisse, Chagall, Leger... Each with their own Museums. The flea markets, vegetable markets, flower markets, hill towns, the sea, the mountains, coastal drives, mountain drives, restaurants, gardens, exploring at it finest. Vence, Antibes, St Paul de Vence, Cannes, Monaco, Cap Ferat and everything in between. We want to do it all.

But alas, 3 weeks is over in the blink of an eye. Next year! Same place, same time. If you chose this villa for your holiday, you've chosen wisely.

During the winter season you are only 1 hour away from 3 popular ski resorts-Isola 2000-Auron and Valberg, normally open from December to April.
