A group of us recently stayed here when looking for a suitable base to enjoy the fringe festival. From a practical point of view, we had no issues arranging taxis into the city with the local companies able to get 3 cars to us within about 15mins. It took us about 20minutes to get to the centre despite the heavy traffic from the festival.
The property is genuinely breathtaking with more space than could be reasonably occupied by 10 people. Tasteful and comfortable with an amazing galleried landing and a large secluded lawn.
The group and I would have no hesitation in recommending the property to any others wanting to enjoy Edinburgh as a family or large group.
Nice old house in a lovely town. House itself was old and quirky but rather rundown. Double rooms were fine but singles not sufficient for 2 adults .Pullout beds very uncomfortable. Ensure you use correct bins outside or you may be charged for cleaning. Kitchen falling apart dishwasher and freezer broken and rather dirty. I would suggest checking itinerary on arrival and letting owner know if anything broken as failure to do so may effect your deposit!!! Ensure you agree date for refund before you book.

Fantastic house for a family group to visit. Plenty of space for all being together but also well planned for space away from each other if required! Beautiful garden to sit and relax in or just stroll round. I especially liked having my breakfast outside in my jammies, very private.
Would definitely return to this property.
The property was perfect for us (a large group of friends visiting the Fringe festival) we had plenty of space and the transport to and from the city centre was easy! Barry the owner was very helpful and we would recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a great property in a great location.
