A haven of peace and tranquility
Rose Cottage is situated in the most beautiful surroundings. Sitting on the terrace looking out at the endless green fields and hills, gave us an almost zen-like feeling of calm. Three gorgeous Shetland ponies and a very friendly donkey grazed in the field below us. Lynda, our host was lovely and really helpful. It was hard to pull ourselves away from the terrace and grounds, but we enjoyed swimming at Camber Sands, much wandering around and eating in the lovely old town of Rye and walks in the surrounding area. We would recommend Rose Cottage to all.

Beautiful views, ideal for short or long stay
Rose Cottage is very comfortable, high standard of cleanliness, the setting is beautiful, Lynda is warm and welcoming, there was a delicious home baked cake plus tea.coffee and milk ready for us. We enjoyed our stay, visiting Rye (the Kings Head very good food and service) and Winchelsea. Our few days passed too quickly, we would recommend Rose Cottage highly.

Wonderful location! Great accommodation!
Rose Cottage is perfect for visiting Rye and local areas (Pashley Manor, Batemans and Sissinghurst Gardens). Very well equipped, clean and comfortable cottage. Lynda was always very welcoming, the freshly baked cheese scones were delicious. We spent a lovely afternoon sitting in the garden enjoying the view and watching the donkeys and ponies. We would definitely recommend Rose Cottage to friends and family.

Lovely cosy cottage with stunning views
Stayed at Rose Cottage for 4 x nights. Was welcomed by the lovely Lynda and home made cheese scones (delicious). A very high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail made this cottage a place to remember. Comfortable beds, stunning view over the fields with the donkeys (Geoffrey and George) and the 3 ponies. Very well equipped with little extras like kitchen roll etc. and coffee and sugar and milk in the fridge. Small shop in the village for anything else you might need and a pub. Extra television in the bedroom. Lots of peace and quiet, very relaxing stay. Good base for going to Rye, Dymchurch and Camber Sands. We also visited Whitstable and Margate for the day. Thankyou Lynda for making our stay so comfortable. A home from home.
