Outstanding accomodation!

  • 5 of 5

There are plenty of holiday cottages to choose from but Glan Soch is a jewel on the Llyn Peninsula. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, cozy and calm place very much. This cottage has been carefully renovated with loving attention to detail. The hosts are very friendly, warm and welcoming and you can count on them whenever you need anything. A very large, beautiful beach is closely located. We can highly reommend this cottage.

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings

  • 5 of 5

Glad Soch cottage is truly a home away from home. We were escaping from building work at our own home and I let out a sigh of relief when Emma opened the door. The cottage is so cosy, comfortable and pristinely clean. Everything has been thought of. The views from every window are amazing and there are so many places to visit close by. Emma is a perfect host, friendly and full of local information but not intrusive in any way. We look forward to a return visit and would certainly recommend.

Clean warm cottage in ideallic location

  • 5 of 5

Lovely welcome, helpful owner who was around if needed but left us alone. Cottage is well equipped and very clean. Kitchen is large with all modern appliances and good quality cooking utensils. Even cake making equipment should you fancy a go. Nice large bath and two good showers. If we were picky we would have liked larger bath towels, but that's our personal taste. Cosy wood stove and great central heating. Cottage has great views and a short walk to a glorious beach. Lots of walks from the cottage. Plenty of local maps and books provided for information too. We may have to return soon for another wonderful week. Karen and James

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for week with my elderly parents. It is a beautiful cottage lovingly restored by Emma and Elwyn. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need, all of the highest quality. My father was unable to join us on all our days out exploring this wonderful peninsula but was very comfortable in the cottage until we returned. Very peaceful and quiet but near to Abersoch and all the other lovely villages. We are looking forward to a return visit next year.

Beautiful cottage

  • 5 of 5

A beautiful cottage in a lovely location, very peaceful and quiet. The cottage had everything you could possibly need, and was spotlessly clean.

We had a very relaxing week, visiting local beaches, eating out, and a bit of shopping in nearby Abersoch and would recommend this holiday cottage to anyone.

Location

Activity and Interests

A quaint rural 2 bedroomed coastal cottage that can comfortably sleep up to 4/5 persons located in the self contained converted 17th century stable wing of the property.

Situated in the heart of the glorious Lleyn Peninsula some 3.3 miles west of the cosmopolitan, bustling seaside resort of Abersoch with its numerous restaurants, bars, shops and wonderful sandy beaches and 1 mile east of the magnificent 3 mile long beach of Porth Neigwl (Hells Mouth) famous for its surf and wonderful unspoilt location.

Whilst staying at Glan Soch Cottage the picturesque villages of Llanengan and Llangian are only a mile or so away and the fabulous locations and beaches of Llanbedrog, Aberdaron, Nefyn, Morfa Nefyn, Whistling Sands and Porth Ceiriad are only a short drive, cycle or ramble away.

The cottage lies on a popular cycle route and is within a designated area of outstanding natural beauty and the Lleyn/ Wales Coastal path.

Glan Soch Cottage is the perfect getaway for people of all ages and walks of life from artists, ramblers, surfers, cyclists, sailors, stargazers to dog walkers.

A place to escape the hustle and bustle of busy daily life, sit on a bench, drink in the tranquillity, read a book and later in the day light the BBQ, watch the sun go down, gaze at the stars and maybe catch a glimpse of our resident barn owls. In the cooler months snuggle up in front of a roaring log fire with a mug of hot chocolate and maybe a game of chess ?
