‘Devon View’ caters for a family of four (or couples) in luxury surroundings. It has a spacious, modern living accommodation area which comprises of a large lounge/dining area with double french doors that lead onto a limestone patio area equipped with table and chairs which is ideal for outdoor living. The property is fully equipped to meet your holiday needs. In the lounge you will find a television and dvd player with a wide selection of dvds, books and games. On the ground floor there is a modern kitchen area with a washing machine, fridge freezer and dishwasher. The stable door opens onto the patio area which is ideal for easy access to the barbeque. As you enter the property to the right of the hallway, there is a downstairs toilet and wash basin and on the left hand side the oak stairway leads upstairs to a bathroom with a shower and two double bedrooms both with fabulous countryside views over farm fields. At the front of the property and main part of the house there is parking and here you can take in the beautiful views across the cliffs and sea to Devon or venture along the cliffs to the village and beaches of Pobbles and Three Cliffs in one direction or the secluded and unspoilt beach of Pwll Du and popular Caswell Bay in the other direction. The house is close to local amenities which includes local shops, a post office, coffee shops and is on a bus route to nearby villages where you can sample the local ales and pub food.

The location is the first reason why the property is unique and secondly its tranquillity. The holiday let has been recently built to a high specification. It will feel like home from home for comfort and style.
Our week in Southgate staying in Sharon's guest house was brilliant. First of all, the location was perfect for us - directly across from the cliffs with views in all directions (even to Devon on a clear day). The Three Cliffs coffee house is very good and a convenient walk down the road; the small store associated with it is terrific for obtaining everything necessary for a meal. Mumbles, with lots of restaurants, is a short drive away. The usual shopping is available for groceries and other stores, but the area is not commericalized or over-run with tourists. Sharon was wonderful, even loaning us a coffee machine. She was the ideal host - available but not intrusive. The house is clean, modern and comfortable. The photos are accurate. The area is peaceful and perfect for walking (or radio-control gliders, my husband's hobby). Within a day we were already discussing how much we hope to return on our next trip to the UK from the US.
We spent four nights at this property in January 2017 in search of some quality time and a relaxing break and we were not disappointed! The high standard accommodation was ideally situated close to the coastal path with an easy bus route into Mumbles. We received a very warm welcome by the owner, Sharon, who went out of her way to make our stay a memorable one. We would certainly consider returning to this property and exploring more of the spectacular beaches and lovely walks.
We throughly enjoyed our weekend stay rediscovering the beautiful Gower peninsula. A lovely welcome by Sharon who was on hand if needed. The house was spotlessly clean, we would not hesitate to recommend or indeed return to in the future.
This property is beautiful. It is decorated and maintained to a very high standard and has all the comforts you need for a lovely holiday. It has a perfect location on the cliffs for walking and exploring the area. Sharon (the owner) is lovely. She will meet you and show you round and is on hand nearby for anything else you may need during your stay. If you are wanting to visit this area, I would highly recommend this property.

Lovely location on the beautiful south coast of the Gower. Property in excellent condition throughout and Sharon made us very welcome indeed. There are stunning beaches, numerous walks, castles galore and many excellent restaurants and pubs all within easy reach. We would recommend around Mumbles in particular for restaurants.
