Breathtaking

  • 5 of 5

The purpose of our trip was to try and fulfill a long time wish of my wife to see the " Northern Lights". My wish was for peace and quiet. Both wishes filled by the bucket load.

We didn't arrive till late in the evening after the worst snow for many years and with the northern lights buzzing all around I was pleased to get into the warmth of our home for the next week. Next morning wow we were not disappointed what a view, surround sound vision.

Snow covered mountains all around with ice blue fjord water to add more beauty. The home for the week did not disappoint in any way Jacob , the owner, had covered everything you could want even down to binoculars to bring the views closer.

The whole stay could not have been better we enjoyed our first visit to Iceland and would thoroughly recommend both the country and this property.

Many thanks to Jacob, the country and their people for making it the most memorable vacation ever.

Best wishes

Paul and Jean

Absolutely beautiful

  • 5 of 5

We had the privilege of staying in this beautiful cabin early April, 2017. Believe me the pictures do not do it justice. The view was amazing. Unfortunately, we were running all over Iceland and didn't get to spend enough time to enjoy it more. It is spacious, you have everything you need and its only about 40 minutes away from Reykjavik. You are close enough to anywhere you want to go on day trips. My only suggestion is instead of putting GPS coordinates on the GPS, input the exact address of the cabin. We had a little difficulty with the GPS in finding it the initial day since its isolated, but that's what makes it so special. A special thanks to the owners, they did not disturb us, were available by email when we needed them and allowed us to stay an extra hour. Thanks again, you have a beautiful place and hopefully we will visit again.

Fantastic Cabin in a Stunning Location

  • 5 of 5

On arriving at the cottage we were very impressed by the stunning views and the quality and comfort of the cabin. Everything that you need for a vacation was available and Jakob was very helpful when we were snowed in with the worst snow in February for 80 years. He was able to give us updates on the snow ploughs and that really helped us as we have 2 young sons. If you want a stunning cabin with the best views ever then I would suggest booking this cabin!

Nice and cosy cottage with great views

  • 5 of 5

Description of this cottage is accurate.

We found the property in a very good shape and Jakob was very fast in responding to any questions.

The cottage is in a quiet area with superb panoramic views over a fjord. A lot of nature attractions are reachable during one day trips (car is needed).

Highly recommended.

Gorgeous house in a wonderful spot

  • 5 of 5

Thank-you for a lovely stay in this truly fabulous house.

We have stayed in lots of great houses with owners direct but think this tops the list!!!!!!

Views were stunning and position wonderful perched on top of cliffs.

Every possible home comfort we could need.

We were sad to leave and want to be back there already.
