Ideally located in a quiet cul-de-sac, a few minutes walk from the beautiful Praia do Vau beach. The apartment is part of the Alto Golf development, 200 metres from driving range, 400m from the first Tee at Alto Golf and 500m walk home from the 19th hole. Pestana Golf Academy is just 800 metres away. A 5 minute drive in either direction will bring you to the lovely Alvor village with its myriad of streets full of restaurants, cafés, bars and shops, and the newly redeveloped "Ribeirinha" area by the river; Or, Praia da Rocha with its beautiful beach, long promenade, Casino, restaurants, bars and Portimão Marina, a regular port of call for cruise ships.

On the first floor (top floor) of a small 2 storey condominium, guests staying at the apartment have full use of the gorgeous free form pebble finish swimming pool. The apartment has been thoughtfully furnished to a very high standard and really feels like your "home in the sun"

The properrty benefits from WiFi, Cable TV and a DVD player.

The kitchen looks out over the pool and gardens and is light and bright, with white cabinets and marble work surfaces. It has all mod cons including washer / dryer, dishwasher, electric oven and hob, microwave and large fridge /freezer.

A large lounge has a marble dining table for 6, a 3 seater sofa, 2 arm chairs, TV and a wood burning fireplace. Patio doors lead out to a large sunny south facing terrace which overlooks a landscaped garden perfect for private sunbathing or outdoor dining.

The twin bedroom has a window with views of the pool, and a 2nd window on the other wall which makes it light and airy. There are fitted wardrobes along one wall. It has a carpet and a wall heater. There is a family bathroom next door with shower, wc and vanity unit with a sink set into marble.

The master double bedroom has a long entrance hall /dressing area lined with fitted wardrobes. Patio doors lead out to the same large sunny south facing varanda. The ensuite bathroom has a bath with shower, WC, bidet and vanity unit with marble top.

There is a parking space in the garage under the condominium, for guests wishing to hire a car.

The apartment has both Air Con, fitted wall heaters and carpeted bedrooms. That along with its ideal location close to so many golf courses and beaches make it an ideal destination all year round.

Winter Rentals are available, please see the monthly rate mentioned.

To qualify for the "Winter Rental" rate bookings must be a minimum of 3 months, between October and March

Please note the rate below includes a preparation clean only.

Additional cleaning can be arranged at €11 per hour.

To secure a booking we request a 30% deposit with the final balance payable on arrival.

Utility bills such as Electricity, Gas, Water and Internet are additional and subject to usage.

Nine days in paradise

The property was great - very well maintained with great amenities. The apartment was very well equipped with everything one could wish for. We loved the proximity of the local beach and its uniqueness. The swimming pool was a big plus too. We enjoyed using our base in Alvor to tour the Algarve.

Overall great but could be improved for when I return

I wanted to give you 5 stars however the thing that let the appartment down was there were carpets in the bedrooms, which had dirty marks on them and there was a smell in the double bedroom which prevented me using it. Would prefer a wipeable floor. Everything else was great and also clean mosty.

FABULOUS STAY

This is a wonderfully well equipped apartment and the swimming pool is a delight.

We used the recommended taxi driver Alex who was very prompt only ever waiting 5 min.

We have stayed twice before in Alto Golf and it was lovely to be back.

I would highly recommend Cottons restaurant at Alto Golf for fine dining.

Mejorable

El apartamento está bien, espacioso y tranquilo, pero, la cama en el sofá del salón es sencillamente inaceptable, con un "colchón" de 5 cm que ni siquiera tiene la densidad de una colchoneta de jardín, imposible descansar en estas condiciones.

No nos han cambiado las sábanas ni las toallas en toda la semana.

No hay mantel en la casa.

Es una pena porque podría estar bien.

Vercy nice and calm place
