Surrounded by the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve and close to both the prestigious Quinta do Lago and Vale de Lobo and their amenities, there is plenty in the area to discover and explore in the Algarve. Apartment Cedar is accessed through a gated entrance-way and boasts a communal pool (including a separate children’s pool), a private Jacuzzi on a spacious terrace looking towards the sea and beautiful lush gardens to wander through. It is the perfect place for a family holiday in the Algarve or as a golf holiday retreat to relax.

The charming self-catering Apartment Cedar sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms with two bathrooms. The attractive and large hallway opens out into an immaculate and modern apartment which has been finished to a high standard with beautiful matt stone floors throughout. The master bedroom has a double bed including a dressing area with fitted double wardrobes, as well as a large en-suite bathroom with both a shower and bath, ‘his and hers’ sinks and heated towel rails. The second bedroom has twin beds as well as fitted double wardrobes and views of the gardens. An additional bathroom is similarly modern with stone tiles and incorporates a shower and further heated towel rails. The open plan lounge and dining area is comfortable and stylish with Wi-Fi internet, Satellite TV and beautiful views of the gardens, pool area and sea. The lounge leads out to a private large decked private terrace and then to the communal swimming pool area. Furthermore the open and contemporary kitchen is fully fitted with modern appliances and is the ideal place to recreate you favourite Portuguese dishes.

Outside, the large and luxurious terrace has wooden decking and hedges for added privacy, making it the ideal place to sunbathe or enjoy a delicious family BBQ. It also features a fantastic private Jacuzzi, which is the perfect place for relaxation and to watch the magnificent sunsets that the Algarve has to offer. Quinta do Mar complex is very private and secure. Besides the communal pool and children's pool there are gardens to enjoy. The Jacuzzi is private and located on Apartment Cedar's spacious terrace. The Atlantic Ocean is just beyond the pine trees. Praia do Ançao is a short 5-10 minute walk away.

Would have been perfection except for the beds!

We loved the apartment and the space we had. The kitchen only lacked a cafeteria as it was difficult finding the right coffee products for the filter machine and pod machine, but that's a minor detail. You need a car really, although the taxi service was fantastic costing between €11 and €16 one way to the places we visited. The grounds and swimming pool were amazing. The walk to the beach took 5 mins down a dusty road, so sensible footwear needed. The bar/restaurant on the beach was very nice but there is not very much else within walking distance. The big issue for us was the beds. They were too hard for either of us to sleep on. We would book again now if not for that. Mattress toppers or new mattresses would make this apartment 5* luxury, a good nights sleep is important. JES were fantastic! Kayleigh organised everything from taxis to shopping when we arrived. I would deal with this company again. Quinta shopping, Casa de Quinta and Vale de lobo are all great places within easy reach of the apartment and well worth a visit.
