About the property

A modern (2009) and very spacious 2 bed apartment located right at the bustling village heart of the magnificent tourist resort of Alvor. Only a 2 minute walk from the top of the main strip with it's ever popular bars and restaurants, only a 5 minute walk from the harbour and the board walk and only a 10 minute walk from the beautiful and highly rated beaches. If you're looking for a central Alvor village location then Edificio Realvor is perfectly positioned. (Like all central apartments, there will be occasional noise. In Alvor it is virtually impossible to be as central as this apartment is AND have complete peace and quiet)

2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite), lounge, kitchen, underground secure garage parking, gated entrance, lift access from the basement to the 1st and 2nd floor, balcony, full air conditioning and a private rooftop pool.!! (The pool is accessed via 3 short flights of steps from the 2nd floor. 25 steps in total)

Tastefully decorated and 120m2 of floorspace. The lounge has free Wi-Fi, English TV (with SKY and BT sports) and a comfy sofa. The kitchen comes complete with washing machine, dish washer, large fridge / freezer, fan oven, micro-wave, 4 ring gas hob, kettle, iron, ironing board and all plates, bowls and cutlery. There is a small kitchen table and a dining room table to the side of the lounge.

The master bedroom has a king size double bed (2m x 2m) with en-suite toilet, bath, shower, bide and sink. The 2nd bedroom has two single beds as well as a third fold out bed that would suit a younger sibling. There is a family shower room with toilet and sink. All bedding, towels and beach towels are included, everything you should need for a relaxing break.

About Martin

Living just near Beaconsfield we are a family that have always enjoyed spending time on the Algarve and, indeed, the picturesque harbour town of Alvor. Our kids are all grown up so our apartment is now being made available for other families to share in this lovely experience.

Why Martin chose Portimao region

This property is in a very central location which gives a unique attraction. It's a modern, spacious and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment. Here you are at the very heart of what the Alvor village offers its visitors. Only a 2 minute walk to the top of the strip with all the many bars and restaurants close at hand. However, you are only a 5 minute walk from the harbour and only a 10 minute walk from the beautiful beach. It's a superb central location.

What makes this apartment unique

This is a very secure first floor apartment with underground and gated garage parking. (Parking is a nightmare in Alvor in the summer but you can relax with your allocated spot).

On the roof there is a lovely private pool and sun deck. Here you can relax without being overlooked whilst enjoying the views across the rooftops and out to sea.

There is full lift access to the 1st floor where the apartment is located which provides an easy way to make full use of a kids buggy or grand parents wheelchair. The rooftop pool is accessed via 3 short flights of steps from the top of the lift. (25 steps total).

Alvor in February

An excellent apartment in a perfect location, right in the old part of the town. We had lots of room and all facilities. The electricity cut out one day but all was fixed by Clare, our local contact, within 30 minutes. An information pack for the apartment would be useful, but it was a small matter for us as we knew the town well. Lighting in the lounge was not really bright enough to read by in the evening, so we used the brighter lamps that we found with the spares.

Great apartment, great central location

Everything made easy for you prior to and on arrival. Local phone numbers sent day before arrival and having made contact with the key holder we were greeted on time and escorted around the apartment. The apartment itself is very under-stated from the outside but very roomy inside with the benefit of a pool and roof terrace, which is highly unusual for this type of property. Underground parking with a electric gate was another winner for us, again not the norm for this type of property.

I would definitely recommend this apartment and would want to stay here again.

Alvor at its finest

Was so impressed with this apartment fantastic location if you love Alvor and all it has to offer , just beside buddy's bar for a wee cheeky after hours nightcap or two and if hungry can get fed also .As for the apartment it was immaculate and very welcoming with the basics already in and wine to boot let the holidays begin ,Claire and Marion was alway on hand if you needed anything and Gus also lol.The roof pool is brilliant for that wee chill time in the sun if your feeling lazy and can't be bother moving to far (more like hungover) can't recommend this apartment enough and can't wait to be back .Thanks so much Martin for sharing you beautiful apartment with us

Exceptional Apartment in the Heart of Alvor

The photos do not do this apartment justice, what a fantastically well appointed place to stay. Spotlessly clean, with the cleaners visiting twice during our week's stay, new appliances throughout, mega secure, with off road private parking (this is a massive bonus as the streets of Alvor are pretty narrow) & a lovely rooftop pool to boot.

Customer service is top notch, (massive thanks to Gus for his invaluable help!)

We have visited the algarve on numerous occasions over the years, but wish I had spotted this little gem sooner, Very highly recommended, would go back right now if I could.

If you are staying here, make sure you pop in to the Leinster Bar on the way back from the stunning beach for a few cold ones.

Whilst here, we frequented a number of restaurants, all of which were superb & can cater for all budgets.

What a superb base for your hols.

Will definately book again.

Great apartment, central location

Great apartment, very well equipped throughout. Good central location. Beach 10 minutes walk away. Bars and restaurants 2 minutes away. Pool area nice and quiet with views of Alvor. All linen provided. Owner very helpful and respond ed quickly to any questions. Would definitely consider booking this apartment again.

Perfect property with everything you would need.

This property is perfect for anyone, the pool area on the roof is amazing. The rooms are all a perfect size with all amenities. The Location is spot on with lots of things to do just a short walk away.
