WE had a most enjoyable stay at this lovely home. It's spacious, well located and comfortable.

  • 5 of 5

The location is perfect to explore the beautiful countryside and near enough to the town of Cahirciveen. Perfect for a family, good feeling of space with an extensive front lawn. Valerie and Brendan are great hosts and always willing to help. Brendan's fishing trips are superb, one of the highlights of our trip. Well equipped and warm, all utilities in good working order. Highly recommend this house.

Perfect stay!

  • 5 of 5

This house was perfect for my party of 8. The three couples and two singles each had their own rooms. The house was very spacious and there was enough room for all of us around the table and for all of us to be in the sitting room. We were delighted with the muffins upon arrival and Valerie and Brendan were welcoming and informative about the area. Brendan took us out on his boat, which was enjoyed by all. Prior to arriving, I had some hesitation as Caherciveen itself received a non-flattering review in a Lonely Planet guide. We were delighted with the town and found it full of interesting shops, restaurants and pubs and amazingly friendly people. We very much enjoyed the walk into town along a fuchsia lined road. Would highly recommend this house to any group!

Owner's Response: Hi Jennifer, Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We were delighted that you enjoyed your stay in our lovely holiday home and all it has to offer. The muffins on arrival are a 'treat to the eye'when making a long journey! We agree that the surrounding countryside is a haven for walkers of any age and Cahirciveen are extremely friendly people with an abundance of history of the area be it in the restaurants, shops, pubs etc. We strive to ensure all our guests have a relaxing and memorable vacation while staying at our home. It is therefore, extremely satisfying for us when appreciation is shown in this way. Brendan is delighted you all enjoyed the scenic fishing trip. We hope to see you all again sometime soon in Cahirciveen. Kind regards to Jennifer and all the family. Valerie and Brendan.

Charming

  • 5 of 5

The house in Cahersiveen is very spacious and very nice furnished. From one of the upstairs bedrooms you have a lovely view of the coast and the sea. We (two adults) stayed there for a week in August and used only the ground floor. The most charming landlady lives in the adjoinig house. As we spent long days outdoors walking on the Ring of Kerry, we only had contact with her on our first and last days. We regret that we didn´t find the opportunity to talk with her more often, because she is avery kind and warm person.

The house is situated in a wonderful quiet area on the outskirts of Cahersiveen - very close to the two ring forts and Ballyberry Castle. It´s also close to "Daly´s Seafood", were we bought two lobsters at an unbeatable price.

All in all, it is the perfect basis for exploring the Ring of Kerry and Killarney.

Super ferienhaus mit viel komfort, etwas ausserhalb

  • 4 of 5

Nice and clean

  • 5 of 5

We were eight people staying in the house for one week. There are so much to see and do in this part of Ireland so we could easily staied one more week! The house was well equipped and with lots of space both indoor and outdoor. It could however do with a few more teaspoons and a couple more of knives and forks. Especially if there were ten people staying. The hostess was very kind and helpful, and with fresh flowers and home baked muffin on the table on the day of arriving, you really felt welcome. I would certainly not hesitate to recommend this for our friends.
