Villa Irida is a modern three-bedroom villa with spacious terraces and gardens, and a beautiful green-tiled private pool. It is situated in a central yet quiet location just above the villages of Magazia and Fontana, and near to the spectacular scenery of the west coast.

The villa is arranged over two floors with most of the accommodation being on the upper floor. From the attractive courtyard parking area steps lead up to the main entrance, pool and gardens. The villa has a large, airy open-plan dining area and comfortable lounge with a widescreen TV and music system; sliding glass doors lead on one side to a front terrace with views over olive groves and, on the other, to the lovely pool and gardens. Adjacent to the dining area is a well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room. There are also two bedrooms on this floor: a double with en-suite bathroom and a twin with en-suite shower room. On the lower floor there is a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room, a utility room and a small gym.

Around the villa are lovely gardens with flower beds, olive trees and a large terraced area, which enjoys a high degree of shade and privacy. Here the main focus is on the beautiful lyre-shaped pool made particularly attractive by its unusual green tiles. Around the pool there are numerous sunbeds, a dining table and chairs, and an outdoor kitchen with built-in barbecue and wood-burning oven.

Villa Irida is within walking distance of Magazia and Fontana (15 minutes), both of which have a couple of shops and tavernas. However, a car is advisable in order to take full advantage of the many wonderful beaches on the island, most of which are just a 10-minute drive, and to reach the main villages of Gaios, Loggos and Lakka. The villa is also ideally located for walkers, as several walks to the dramatic west coast start from Magazia and there are many walks around Fontana.

For large parties, Villa Irida can be combined with Villa Nika, just a couple of minutes’ walk away.
