Part of a XVI Cent. finely restored building, in the heart of the most central and elegant part of Venice, Lyra is a quality and finely furnished 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms apart. A distinctive XVI Cent. private courtyard (Corte Zorzi) gives access to the building, getting an agreable brightness within a perfect noise sheltering (altrough pedestrian noise is not so negleigible in Venice ). The location is just few steps behind Saint-Mark square, quiet hidden corner. In fact, despite to its fully central position the area is not a massive tourist path and still preserves flavours and sensations of times gone by. Just out of the courtyard u will find a small nice venetian square, Campo San Gallo, with a pleasant open-air cafè where u can have both a coffee/drink or a light meal, and an even small charming theatre, Teatro San Gallo, where every day u could attend entertaining shows telling about the Great stories of Venice (English language). Leaving the Campo and crossing a small bridge u will find Bacino Orseolo, the main starting point for every kind of Gondola tour.

Absolutely perfect!

Our location was perfect!!! We were close to everything we wanted to do! The place was spotless, well organized and attended to. We were met by a lovely woman with tons of energy and suggestions of things to be sure to do. I am ready to return but have to wait till next summer! Terrific!!!!!

Excellent stay

2 adults and 2 teenager childs, second time in Venice. After a quick and nice deal with Andrea we booked this property. We found a perfectly furnished and cleaned apart, all as promised. Two large bedrooms, the largest with additional bed (our sons loved to sleep separated), good on-suite bathrooms (shower), nice bright living with small but fully equipped kitchen. Wonderful views from every window. We also appreciated to have a satellite TV&dvd in every bedroom as well as in the living. Not much time to use it but our childs and my husband appreciated it few nights. The location is the best a vistor could ask for: just few steps from Saint Mark's square and close to everything but extremely quiet and pictoresque corner. Much appreciated by my bruised knee and my lazy childs. When we arrived we have been met by Matilde at Rialto's waterbus. She lead us to the apart (2 min walking) and she suggested us many restaurants. We absolutely appreciated it. The most appreciated was trattoria Noemi and Trattoria Al Nono Resorto, delicious and convenients, not much touristic. Thank u all the staff for this excellent stay. Strubing Family Munchen

Excellent accomodation

The apart is absolutely correspondent to what reported in the advert. Two really large bedrooms with double beds and internal bathroom separated by the living area. Despite apart’s sharing (2 couples) the internal bathrooms and the separation allowed us a real and agreable intimacy. Much appreciated. Bedrooms are spacious, absolutely quiet, fully air-cond, equipped with satellite TV each. The living area is absolutely nice and the kitchen is fully equipped and functional. Overall manteinance of the apart is accurate, as well as celanings. Views are charming (canals, private courtyards and narrow streets around). The location is the best we could find out: fully central, Saint-Mark square few steps away, but absolutely quiet and really distinctive. We visited everything and saved lot of time. We loved to have a coffee at the cafè in the small quiet square in front and having daily shopping at the Rialto’s open-air market. Due to our choice we had a wonderful stay in Venice. Definitley reccomended.

Great location good service

Easy deal and fully correspondent advert. We have been met by Martina (really kind and helpful) to the Rialto’s waterbus stop and lead to the apart. The apart has an easy access, it was clean and perfectly set for our arrival. It has 2 large and well separated double bedrooms (good mid hardness mattress) with on-suite bathrooms. Bathrooms have a large shower each. Bedrooms have dedicated air-conditioning (really appreciated as mid July we found really hot weather) satellite TV/dvd each, as well as the living. Living area with small canal view, comfortable table, fully equipped kitchen with good cookware and crockery. Micro toaster and coffee machine have been really appreciated for our breakfast. We also bought and cooked fish on the local Rialto’s open-air market (3 min. away), delicious. The location is absolutely perfect: even if really just few steps behind San Marco square that specific corner was incredibly not disturbed by massive tourism as it is not a usual path. So we had a wonderful sight-seeing starting point allowing us to save lot of huge walkings and bridges but we also had quietness and calmness when we got back from our visits. Surroundings are delightful. We had a 1 month tour around Europe and this has surely been our preferred accomodation. Definitley reccomended.

God bless you!

Our third time in Venice. The first two, just me and my husband, we felt on really bad and ruined aparts, good looking, good price but absolutely disresputable and not corresponding to what was promised. This time we were with a couple of friends, 4 guests, and we couldn’t fall on the same mistake. Then, looking at the Owner’s years membership, his other listed properties and good Reviews, as well as to the good looking of this advert and its features matching our needs (2 doubles & 2 bathrooms, fully central but quiet), we choosed it. We received a full documentation, clear prices, quick deal, fast answers to our multiple questions. The host met us when we arrived and beforehand he emailed lots of really helpful info about how to get there. This came in super handy. Everything was 100% correspondent to what promised. The location was great, just few meters behind Saint-Mark square, no heavily touristic, quiet. In just 3 days we visited the whole town, no time wasted. The small square in front was charming and calm, the surroundings were too. The apart was de luxe, nothing less. We felt like we had 2 extra comfortable suites in a 4 stars hotel. Bathroom&shower in the bedrooms, satellite TV in every bedroom, bed linen and abundant towels. Compared to an hotel it is extremely convenient, even if we consider just 2 small doubles. No room service, that’s true, but we had the possibility to wash and dry our clothes there and also have our meals at home and this, within the low fee, let our holiday amazing, relaxing and cheap (it anyway helps!). The kitchen was small but absolutely well furnished with microwaves, toaster, coffee machine. We had great time there and our friends do not stop to thank us yet! Deinitely suggested. Micha&Rudy
