About the property

3 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom Town House with Air Con, WiFi, SAT TV, walk to amenities

This beautiful, stone townhouse is a two-minute stroll from the main square, yet is tranquil, sitting quietly in a traditional street. It offers comfortable, secluded, elegant living with an authentic Mallorcan feel in the centre of the old town.

From relaxing in the stone courtyard pool, to luxuriating on the breath-taking rooftop sun-terrace as swallows perform an aerial ballet against a spectacular mountain backdrop, this delightful house provides a myriad of distinct and captivating atmospheres.

Step into the cool hall from the street, and two steps lead up to an open plan living and dining area. Four glass doors fold away completely to give seamless access to the stone courtyard and its pool, making the whole a beautiful private living space in the open air. The ground floor also includes a well-equipped kitchen, utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a downstairs toilet.

Upstairs, over two further floors, three large and lavishly furnished double bedrooms each have a king size bed and an en suite bathroom. One has access to its own balcony overlooking the courtyard, and another has its own TV. On the top floor there is a second smaller sitting room, also with a TV, that has access to a balcony garden. There table and chairs make a great place for drinks or a game of cards amongst the flowers and there is a lovely view of Pollensa’s famous Puig.

Climb up further from the top sitting room to a sunny roof terrace and enjoy stunning 360-degree views over terracotta rooftops of the old town to the surrounding Tramuntana mountains. A cold-water shower provides an immediate way to cool off for those sunbathing and enjoying the view too much to return to the courtyard pool.

This gorgeous property also offers 30MB fibre-optic broadband from 4 routers, giving fast internet access throughout the house and connection for the smart TVs. There’s air-conditioning in all bedrooms, oil fired central heating throughout the house, and wood-burning stoves in both sitting rooms for the winter, with the smart TVs having an additional satellite connection (English and German terrestrial channels).

Courtyard dining is an attractive option, but must be balanced against the call of the numerous fabulous restaurants of the old town, just around the corner. The location of this property within a couple of minutes stroll of Pollença’s many fine dining options and bars allows valuable independence and flexibility to couples holidaying together and means there is never a need to take turns to drive home at the end of the evening. The beautiful beaches of Puerto Pollença and Cala San Vicente are each a 5 minute drive away, as are the fabulous opportunities for walking and cycling in the stunning Serra de Tramuntana mountains, so beautiful they have been designated a World Heritage Site.

Please note:

- pool heating is charged extra at 200 euros per week

- a security deposit of 1,500 EUR must be provided when renting this property

- the property is not suitable for children under 10 years of age

luxury house in a convient quiet location

  • 5 of 5

A wonderful place to stay in pollenca. V quiet, no street noise, yet a couple of minutes from some lovely boutique shops and breakfast. Plenty of places to eat in the evening that we were spoilt for choice. I loved the convenient location and the house was equipped to a very high standard, clean, comfortable, stylish and full of character. One of the things I particularly enjoyed was the terrace overlooking the rooftops, private but with a spectacular view. I will definitely be making a repeat booking very soon.

Great House to stay while walking in Mallorca

  • 5 of 5

Visited in March 2017

We had lovely walks in the mountains of North West Mallorca in March. Beautiful walk from Orient through Olive trees and then climbed up to the Monastery overlooking the plains of Mallorca . Made it a circular walk via a Restaurant surrounded by sheep . Bizarre eating roast lamb with the tinkle of bells outside. We only saw the beaches from the mountain tops. Great views.

Picnics while walking but breakfast sitting out in the sun ( needed a jumper and coat ) in local café in Plaza Major 1 to 2 mins from the house. All felt very Spanish with very few tourists.

House was lovely with 2 roaring wood burners . We used the second floor sitting room the most. Large pile of old dry wood provided that would last a winter. Bit of a pain carrying wood up the stairs as we went through a lot during our stay . Some stunning clear blue days ,we read and then nodded off in the afternoon sun on the third floor roof terrace lying on the massive bed like thing. Great views over Pollensa’s clay tile roof tops to the mountains beyond and the overlooking Puig

A Wonderful Place

  • 5 of 5

This impeccably kept home made a wonderful winter getaway. It was a minute or so stroll to the main square of historic Pollensa, with boutique shops, cafes and restaurants as well as the beautiful town church. Despite being so central it was quiet and peaceful within the property, only hearing the occasional chime of the church bells. Every room was exceptionally clean and rich with character. We particularly enjoyed the living room on the third floor, with a wood burning stove and comfy armchairs, it was a great place to read, work and play board games around the fire. We also loved the bed on the roof terrace which we took blankets up to in the evening and watched the sunset over the mountains. The view from there was exceptional. We were pleasantly surprised by the January weather – a coat was needed but it was warm in the sun and still lovely to eat outside. We had some great walks in and around the surrounding hills with views over the town, followed by hot chocolate in the square. This was a magical stay in a very special place to which we would love to return.

Stunning House

  • 5 of 5

This is a truly stunning house and an ideal location in the centre of the beautiful old town of Pollensa. Laid out over 5 floors each with it's own terrace or balcony and each room is decorated to the highest standard with exceptional individual features and modern facilities. Sipping an evening cocktail on the roof terrace, with views over the whole town while watching the sun setting over the hill was a real highlight. We walked at dawn to the convent on the hill, went to the beach by bus and explored the enchanting old town's shops, bars and tavernas and ate on a different terrace on a different floor of the house each meal. It was such a wonderful place to be that we stayed in more than we imagined we would and just enjoyed all the amazing facilities on offer. Really really recommend this house - would love to return.

A truly exceptional property

  • 5 of 5

The house was more than we could have ever expected. It was as if we had arrived at a 5* hotel, and we were the only guests. It was truly outstanding. There were 7 of us staying for the week, which meant that we were spoilt for space. The only bad thing about our stay was that we didn't have long enough. The house and surrounding region was truly heavenly. The weather was outstanding which meant that the pool and the numerous balconies and terraces could be interchanged throughout the day depending on how much sun you wanted to bathe in and we made a conscious effort to have our evening meals on a different terrace each night. I would recommend having drinks at sunset on the rooftop, they were definitely a highlight. The interior of the house was beautiful and each of the bedrooms had beautiful features that set it apart from the next. I am going to make a conscious effort to return in the winter next time so I can enjoy the lovely sitting rooms and lovely dining room too! The house is right in the centre of town which meant we were only a minutes walk from all of the beautiful restraunts, bars and Gellateries that Pollenca had to offer. We also went to the beach most days using the bus, which is also just a few minutes walk from the house and so easy. I've already recommended this incredible house to so many of my friends and family and we're already making plans to return as soon possible. Book as soon as you get the chance. It is a truly incredible house!!

Idyllic town house

  • 5 of 5

We had the most incredible stay in this beautiful, well equipped and stylish house. It was extremely spacious with beautifully designed rooms and we enjoyed eating on all the different terrace levels. The house is in a brilliant location, right in the centre of pollenca but somehow felt very private. Easy access to beaches on local trains and a we enjoyed early morning walks to the top of a nearby hill. Could not recommend this house more and definitely would love to return!!
