The house was initially built as a family home, so the materials are better than many a rental property. Guests are sure to enjoy the Mediterranean garden with its numerous types of palm trees. Many a splendid evening has been spent on the terrace admiring the sunset. Furthermore, the location of this property is ideal only a matter of minutes away from Pollensa with all its charming amenities, Alcudia, Puerto de Pollensa and the nearest beaches. The entrance hallway of the property is accessed from the shady terrace with a large wooden table. This hallway then leads into the comfortable lounge with rustic fireplace. The ground floor also houses the dining room with access out on to the terrace, the fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms (one with wheelchair access) and one of the four bedrooms. The remaining 3 bedrooms (one presented as a studio) and a further bathroom are found on the first floor. Further features of the property include air conditioning, satellite TV and a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. A particular highlight is the 55 square metre summer kitchen, with large dining table, oven, barbecue and small bar a truly magical place to relax on a long summer evening. There is also a regular gardening and pool service provided by the owner.

Fabulous Home away from Home

If you're looking for a well equipped villa, far enough out to be peaceful but only 10 mins drive from the old towns of Alcudia and Pollensa, this is for you. This was a family home and it shows the minute you walk through the door, it's so much more than just a 'holiday villa' Clean with a never ending feeling of space both inside and out, the pool area with its accompanying kitchen is where we spent 90% of our time. There were three of us and in all honesty it's a bit too big for 3 , 4-6 would be the ideal number but it does sleep 8. Miguel the owner does have a storage facility for his agricultural equipment next door but it's not visible from the main areas of the house and he was only there once during the week we were there. 45 mins from the airport, 10 mins drive to both Lidl and Eroski supermarkets, a car is essential if you're staying here.

Originally a fishing village, the enchanting resort of Puerto Pollensa has everything, wonderful scenery, beautiful sandy beaches, fantastic cuisine and a laid-back friendly atmosphere. The sheltered horseshoe shaped bay is set against the stunning backdrop of the Tramuntana mountain range. The resort of Puerto Pollensa is arguably Mallorcas finest. Despite its success, Puerto Pollensa has managed to retain its charm and a somewhat understated character as well as its rather exclusive feel.

Location Information.

The most beautiful and picturesque area of Mallorca is the Pollenca region which has a unique charm and beauty, and is the ideal destination for quality, family villa holidays. Pollença Old Town is a peaceful and tranquil town that remains very typically Spanish. It is four miles from the coast, nestling between two hills at the eastern end of the Tramuntana mountains. Pollença itself is indisputably pretty. Historic buildings with ochre roofs, sun-baked walls and wooden shutters line the narrow and twisting medieval streets. There are pastel-painted houses in the centre and Moorish water mills on the outskirts. It's also a haven of sleepy Mallorcan traditions - café life and the siesta roll on here as they always have. The heart of the old town is the central square, Plaça Major, where there are many café-bars and fine restaurants. Pollença also has lots of galleries of Mallorcan art and design, and a town museum. The most famous walk in Pollença is up the 365 steps of the tree-lined 'Calvario' - the Calvari Hill. There is a tiny church at the top with amazing views over the town and across wooded valleys to the sea Puerto Pollensa is host to long sandy beaches that curve around the bay and are divided by breakwaters and so are ideal for children. There are also a number of small, natural, sand and pebble beaches to explore. The atmosphere in Puerto Pollensa is relaxed with no loud discos or nightclubs, but a fine variety of open-air cafés, restaurants, boutiques and shops. The countryside around Pollenca Old Town and Puerto Pollensa is amongst the most stunning and picturesque in the Mediterranean. Lush green dramatic valleys, littered with grazing mountain goats and sheep and beautiful rural farmland hillsides dotted around picturesque monastery’s and farms are the typical view from your garden here.
