Her 9-seater van is ideal for airport transfers to/from Olbia and local tourist trips (upon request), whilst friendly Paola can also hire bicycles for € 2 per day and offer excursions and beach tours on her very own boat!

Cala di Budoni Beach:
The beach is made up of fine, light-coloured, sparkling sand., The beach,is four kilometres long and stretches out between Punta Li Cucutti and Punta Porto Ainu, taking on the names of the different areas: Li Salineddi, Salamaghe, Lido del Sole and Sa Capannizza. In this spectacular landscape there are small dunes, brackish ponds and pinewoods, that encourage the growth of rich Fauna. The shallow waters make bathing safe and pleasant, also allowing children to swim without danger.
The beach is easily reached by going along the SS 125 main road and turning off for the inhabited area of Budoni.
It has a host of facilities: it has wheelchair access, an ample car park, also suitable for campervans. The area also offers hotels and campsites, cafes and other refreshment areas. It is possible to rent beach umbrellas, sun-loungers and peddle boats. It is particularly popular for windsurfing and by scuba diving and snorkelling enthusiasts.
Long uninhabited, despite its ancient geological origin, Sardinia is the second largest island in the Mediterranean and has an irresistibly geographical position. Sardinia has some of the finest beaches in the world, with beautiful white sands and clear blue sea.
Italian? yes but with a culture of its own that has developed over time, due to its position at the heart of the western Mediterranean Sea. The Island is mountainous and rugged and tourists should be encouraged to go inland and explore the fabulous scenery.

Home to a rich and thriving heritage, Budoni also enables visitors to be part of its many year-round events; from taking in the bonfire and wine tasting on the Feast of Sant’ Antonio Abete 16th January, joining in the fun of the Carnival season throughout February, witnessing the humble rite of S’ Incontru procession on Easter Sunday, enjoying the delicious sweet ‘origliette’ delicacies served on the feast of San Giovanni Battisti in June, and not forgetting dancing away at the most anticipated ‘Ferragosto Budonese;’ which sees street parties, night time entertainment and music fill the air.
From July-August the streets are also made car-free and safe in the evenings, to make way for a lively market which sells a wealth of local Sardinian products, gifts and delectable delicacies to take home.
Whilst water sport fans, nature lovers and beach babes can take in the breathtaking pine forests, inviting sandy coastline and rocky coves of Budoni, history fans can also enjoy visiting Posada’s medieval castle and exploring the many incredible ‘Nuraghe’ structures, which are dotted around the surrounding landscape.
Budoni offers close proximity to the fabulous harbour side, boat trips and restaurants on offer in Porto Ottiolu (11 minutes drive) and the popular resort of San Teodoro (14 minutes drive). Beautiful Olbia, with its ferry links and airport can also be reached within a 30 minutes drive from Budoni.
