About the property

Sea, villa, Marina, Design, Sandy Beach, Waterfront, ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

A villa with lovely furnishing at the waterfront, right in fron the marina of Marina di Ragusa. The location is truly unique: the villa is at the end of the beautiful pedestrian promenade, that connects the center of the town with the marina, where the view is extraodinary. The villa distances less then 100 meters from a sandy beach and from the boulevard with restaurants, coffee bars and shops.

Villa Marianna is a villa with a story. Back in the 19th century, the property has been used as a storage where pumice stones were gathered before being exported to England. Today, the property is a marvellous place for a unforgettable holiday, entirely renovated in a modern and fresh design.

The terrace overlooks the harbor and the sea. The garden of the villa is fenced by a wall, guaranteeing maximum privacy.

Marina di Ragusa is in the south of Sicily. It is also sunny during winter, and inhabited all year round. In summer it is the most popular seaside destination of this part of Sicily.

We provide you with transparent information and true pictures. What you see is exactly what you get. We will advise you as much as we can about travel info, transfers and car rental.

Dinners in villas and other extra services can also be arranged. Finally, our prices are final rates! There are no hidden additional costs. We are flexible with your arrivals and departures and if you need a late check-in this is usually possible.

Excellent Villa

  • 5 of 5

What a fantastic villa! Very clean and tidy with every piece of equipment one might need on a self-catering holiday. The location near the marina and beach was quiet but still within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. We loved the 'welcome pack' of fruit, tomatoes and nuts and enough basics to ensure that we could have a cup of coffee before the need to go to the supermarket. Much useful information provided by Guenter about the where to eat and places to visit. And one extra plus for this villa was the secure parking. All in all 5 out of 5.

Delightful, bright, airy and spacious inside and out.

  • 5 of 5

Everyone loved it and did not want to leave. Our party was 2 mature couples with 2 elderly parents. Entering the house it has a 'wow' factor. Glass stairs and lighting in glass tiles in the floor plus huge glass doors out to the terrace give it a bright, light and airy feel. Up the glass stairs there was a fabulous upper floor with large ensuite bedroom with doors opening onto a

large sun terrace. Plus a huge 'clothes' room plus a large laundry room with washing machine, iron etc. There was also a large sofa area with tv. Downstairs along with a lovely, comfortable sitting area, dining room, with extending table, and good size kitchen were 3 double bedrooms and 2 toilet/shower rooms. One of these had delightful curvy sanitary ware. This layout was ideal as we had two 85 year olds with reduced mobility and they were able to get about perfectly well on the ground floor. Outside we moved the large outdoor table to enable us to dine in the sunshine. Plus there was a cushioned seating area just on the outside terrace. Again ideal for the elderly parents. Everything was clean and attractive. A mix of modern and classic. The bedding and towels were lovely with plenty of extras. There were cushions and blankets and trays etc which made life more easy and more comfortable. We were given a warm welcome and a some delicious food and drink, including wine, cheese, salami and fruit. There was tea and coffee and spices etc. We were able to park both our cars within the property which helped as we were there on two holiday days when the area became quite busy. It was good hotel quality yet homely and it was a pleasure to return to the house after a busy day sightseeing. There was plenty of heating / air conditioning available. We didn't find a vacuum or a microwave ... We managed without them anyway. There was a manual for the washing machine but a manual for the dishwasher would have helped.. our selection was somewhat random. Gunter was on hand if needed. We visited some interesting places and had some special experiences. We were at the right place at the right time to see Inspector Montalbano being filmed. We also saw mount Etna erupting. The road surfaces are dire in many places and the extension of the motorway will make travelling a lot quicker and more comfortable. We aren't missing the bumpy ride but we are mIssing the blue skies and brightness of Sicily and the charm and comforts of Villa Marianna.

Lovely seafront villa

  • 5 of 5

What a lovely house! Slightly set back from the sea with a wind-protected garden & shady terrace. Three ample bedrooms & two bathrooms on the ground floor, along with the lounge & dining, opening out to the terrace. Upstairs, a master suite with open-plan lounge, laundry and sun terrace. The house is nicely furnished and well-stocked (good kitchen, lots of towels). Guenter was super helpful and the "welcome pack" was much appreciated, given we arrived on a public holiday. A minute's walk to the public beach and the main promenade along the sea, with a large selection of restaurants. The central piazza is a 5-8 minute walk. All in all, highly recommended!

Perfect villa for a family

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed staying there, it is big enough for two families and is even better than depicted in the photos. Large green garden in the middle of the town and on the beach was a real treat. We were using different corners every evening to enjoy nice warm evenings, but inside area was as good. It is walking distance from everything and so close to the nice and clean beach. The keyholder Guenter was very nice and welcoming as well as the welcome package. I would certainly recommend it to my friends and hope to come back myself.

wonderful venue for a group holiday

  • 4 of 5

with 4 double bedrooms, Villa Marianna is a great place for 6 ( 2 couples and 2 singles) friends to relax. Starting with an early morning swim in the sea just 5 minutes walk away and fresh pastries from the bakery there is so much to do or not as the mood takes. The photos, we felt, undersold the villa which is well equipped and very comfortable. Somehow the sum of the parts was greater than the photos which is all good news. A car means some of the historic sites nearby are accessable and they are plenty of places to eat out or use the barbecue. We all loved it.
