For the past 20 years I have been a professional fundraiser raising the money needed to help schools and charities to provide the very best quality of life and opportunities for children and vulnerable young people. I am also a garden designer and love creating inner city gardens which bring a peace, colour and seasonal change to our city spaces.

I love Central London, its international community and the huge cultural diversity it offers; great food, mind-blowing markets, performance art, exhibitions - its cutting edge modernity and historic legacy. Wimbolden Tennis, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs Football Clubs, Lords Cricket - world class sports! We host some of the world's most amazing festivals of food, dance, music, art and performance.
London is one of the greatest cities on earth! And it's all on our doorstep!!!
And at the end of a thrilling day, having lived in this quiet family neighbourhood all my adult life, I know importance of a quiet moment to relax, kick back and recharge my batteries. I need quiet and space in plenty to do this.
Our gorgeous Victorian Villa, its lovely garden and nearby parks is the perfect antidote! This house is brimming with period charm, extensive space to stretch out, easy parking and extraordinary quiet.
Our peaceful walled garden invites you to enjoy a glass of wine and dinner one evening, or fresh croissants and morning coffee - here is a perfect oasis of calm at the end or start of your day!
Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found the area to be safe and convenient, and the flat to be clean and quiet. We were there over a week and never had any issue whatsoever. The flat felt like a bit of home after sightseeing daily. This flat isn't in the center of all the tourist attractions, but they are easily accessible due to the close proximity of the Archway tube stop. We wanted a more authentic London experience and felt we got that with this flat. The grocery store- the Sainsbury- is between the tube stop and the flat so that is ideal. There is also a pub, a few restaraunts and even a Starbucks and a McDonald's If you happen to need them for your teen like we did.
Stayed here with my wife and three kids. Situated just a few minutes walk from the tube with lots of supermarkets and restaurats nearby. Was a perfect Base for exploring London. The house was exceptionally clean and had lots of everyday supplies and equipment. It was perfect for our kids, very safe, lots of children's toys and a safe garden to explore. Carolyn was an excellent host and responded promptly to any queries. Would highly recomend this property
We really enjoyed staying at the house. The welcome pack was delicious and everything was clear and easy to use. The street was very quiet and very close to different transport links.
We arrived quite late in the evening and the welcome hamper was so fantastic, milk, eggs fruit and bread.
The house itself was warm and easily fit my family of 4 and had a cot for the youngest.
The kitchen had everything we needed which made our stay so much better as we could come hone and cook at night.
The location of the house made it very easy to catch the tube or buses into the areas we wanted, and a tesco and sainsburys nearby. There is also a bigger supermarket in Camden very accessible by bus or train.
Carolyn was very helpful in the lead up to our trip, and contactable during if we needed anything.
I'd stay here again.
This property was exactly as advertised and made for an extremely comfortable environment for our family of four. We really appreciated that our two teenagers had space of their own as did we. The property was very clean and many essentials were provided including adapters, hairdryer and groceries. The apartment was very convenient to the tube, bus stops, shopping and restaurants and everyone in the neighborhood was friendly and helpful. The owner provided us with helpful information including places to eat and where to celebrate on New Year’s Eve. We have no hesitation about recommending this wonderful place!
Our first impression of the flat was that the photos did not do it justice- so much roomier than we expected. We stayed with three kids aged 17, 14 & 9 and the 2 bedrooms plus sofa bed worked well. The facilities were great with a dishwasher and washing machine & dryer and a small well equipped kitchen. The microwave broke down during our stay and the owner had a new one installed within 3 hours of us letting her know- very impressed! My teenage daughters are keen theatre goers and the flat is perfectly located to access the West End within 20 minutes. We ate in most nights and the close location of Tesco & Sainsbury made “Ready meals” a breeze. Absolutely recommed this apartment as a place to stay.
An oasis of calm in the vibrant heart of London.
The perfect base from which to explore all London has to offer. Just 3 minutes’ walk to the train station. London’s city centre is just 10-15 minutes away – historic Royal Palaces, theatres, museums & art galleries, markets, bars and world class shopping.
Our house is ideally located in a lively family-friendly neighbourhood - a quiet, tree-lined avenue with on-street parking easily available right outside our door.
