What a perfect stay! ;-)

Good Location for sightseeing!

This apartment was in a great location for public transportation. Short walk to bus and train. The apartment was very well equipped. All the comforts of home. The one bedroom was very tight for two people. Overall it was a nice place to rent. The washer and dryer was a definite plus!

Owner's Response: So glad you felt at home. It is true that apartments in Central London are generally smaller than those in the USA and Australia where there land is more easily available. Property in London's Zone 1 is typically double the price. So we chose this neighbourhood carefully to achieve the best possible compromise - just 5 minutes from Zone 1, with spacious accommodation at an affordable price.

Perfect private and comfortable

Quality flat for a short visit. A haven amongst the madness of London.

Everything was as described on the site. Pristine condition indoors...

The owner was attentive to our special needs (much appreciated).

Easy access to central city public transport. Didn't get to try local restaurants as we were there for a wedding, but lots of choice available.

Would recommend to friends.

Snug and covenient

We truly enjoyed our 13 night stay in the Archway flat. The check in process was just as advertised with everything we needed for our first breakfast. There are two grocery stores at the end of the block and the tube stop is close by. The kitchen is well equipped and with the washer and dryer we were able to bring out small suitcases. The back yard is a real plus in the middle of the city.

Comfortable Garden Flat in Traditional Terraced Home

This flat is located in a vibrant, diverse neighborhood, away from Central London, but with close access to the Tube (Archway Station) and several bus lines. It is clean, well-maintained and very comfortably furnished, and has plenty of good natural lighting and a pleasant prospect looking out into a private back yard. We found the flat a perfect size for three adults; our adult son slept in the double bed (might be somewhat cramped for two adults), and my husband and I took the room with twin beds. The lounge has a comfy sofa, a good TV, strong Wi-Fi, a DVD player with movies appealing to a variety of ages, and an eclectic collection of books.

The neighborhood contains a plethora of eating establishments and food shops, so one has the option of eating out, buying takeaway, or cooking meals in the well-designed and well-equipped kitchen (though no salt and pepper).

We especially appreciated the availability of the keys on the premises in a lockbox, thus precluding the necessity of coordinating arrangements upon our bedraggled arrival after the long travel day from the West Coast of the U.S. The provisions (bread, fruit, milk, eggs) awaiting our arrival were also a thoughtful touch. The management is obviously interested in providing good service and was immediately responsive to any questions and needs.

We looked forward to returning to the flat after a hard day of sight-seeing, and it became a welcoming home away from home for our three-week stay. We would not hesitate to recommend it to travelers who prefer accommodations away from the touristy areas of London.
