About the property

Stunning 4 bedroom villa, 3 bathroom, private pool and garden, air con,

The main living area is large, bright and sunny. There are three designated areas - the sitting area with fabulous chimney, TV, DVD etc, there is a large square dining table, plus the kitchen area with breakfast bar and fridge/ freezer, dishwasher and microwave, all of these area over look the flat garden, pool and terrace area. There are large sliding doors all across one side giving plenty of light and a bright sunny aspect. There is second sitting room with direct access to the covered terrace and barbecue, additional dining area and a comfortable out side seating area.

Three of the bedrooms have views over the fields to the 'Montgri' mountain in the distance, the fourth bedroom is en-suite with shower room plus views and access to the pool and garden. There are 2 double beds, twin beds and a single bed with a pull-out bed so it can accommodate up to 8 people. There are two other bathrooms - 1 with shower and the other with a jacuzzi style bath.

There is a laundry room: washing machine and tumbler dryer. Double garage with direct access to the house. Additional parking both inside the boundary and on the private road outside.

Air conditioning through out the villa, There is a CCTV system which can be activated if you require. TV and DVD.


Pool:10m x 5m with walk in steps and surrounded by terrace and garden. Plenty of loungers and garden furniture is available.

WONDERFUL PLACE in the golf community!

This is a beautiful, tranquil practically new home inside the community of Emporda Golf & is in walking distance of the club house, which has a very nice restaurant.

The beach is about 10 minutes drive away and I recommend Playa de Pals which is large & has soft sand and the cute town of Calella de Palafrugell which is a 15 min. drive away with lovely restaurants & stunning coves, great place for an evening dine outside along the shore (small pebbly beaches). Recommend walking along the cost from Calella to Llafranc too. There are medieval villages near and my favorite was Peratallada (15 min.) where there are lots of restaurants and tiny shops. We also went to L’Escala to see the Greek/Roman ruins of Empuries, with lots of restaurants at the old village. Worth the 20-25 minute drive. The grocery stores are nearby in Pals or closer in Torroella de Montgri which has a great market in the center of the town, I think we went on a Monday. There are lots of shops & bakeries in that village.

With 2 young kids 7-11and 2 couples, the house had everything we needed from kitchen supplies, to BBQ, to lawn chairs, to some beach supplies (cooler bags, ice packs etc) & more. Some rental places don’t provide much where you have to buy everything, but they had spices to cook with & even a gift basket with wine, cava, local deli or charcuterie, crackers, olives, cheese etc. free of charge for us as a surprise so we didn’t have to run out to get snacks immediately. It’s well furnished with decent seating areas inside & in the porch, a nice size TV, Internet connection, minimal entertainment, some kids toys & games, etc., but we were outside most the time anyway. The rooms are nice in size with king size beds or two twins/singles, they have one smaller room that has a pull out twin bed which is a bit small but was fine with our small children. The beds would be fine for an adult too. Plenty of pillows & blankets, central air conditioning was good & the home has a lot of light from the front which is wall to wall glass in the living room, dining & kitchen space.

The pool was great! It was large at 32x16 feet (10x5 meters) & the kids had room to run in the yard. They had bikes in the garage (2 adult bikes, 1 teen, 1 kids & 1 scooter & one razor scooter).

We had a GREAT time. We definitely will come back and stay here! Thanks

Set on the Emporda Golf Course, which also has a hotel and Spa. Restaurant, bar and golfigng school for adults and children. It is between the medeval villages of Pals and Torroella de Montgri with there weekly street markets. There are several beaches in the area from the long sandy beaches of Pals to the pretty coves of Begur, all with in a 15 mins drive. There are some excellent local shops for meat, fish and bread in Pals and Torroella, and also supermarkets.
