Spacious one bedroom apartment with private patio : sleeps 2 : in Pittenweem

Cormora offers well equipped quality contemporary holiday accommodation in a traditional building. The apartment is all on one level and has stunning sea views including the Isle of May and Pittenweem Harbour. It is 50m from the picturesque harbour and next to the Fife Coastal Path with beaches, bar, restaurants and a golf course all within 500metres.

Cormora is beautifully decorated and provides a spacious lounge with dining area, a separate kitchen, a large double bedroom with built in wardrobe and a bathroom. There is a private patio with glazed screen revealing stunning sea views over the Firth of Forth, while on the foreground rocks groups of various seabirds gather at low tide.

Garden seats, a table and a BBQ are provided for those long warm summer evenings. Treat yourself to a relaxing glass of wine while taking in the amazing vista.

Pittenweem is a charming historic fishing village with a picturesque harbour area. The harbour is the most active of all the East Neuk fishing ports and is a lively and vibrant place at any time of day and any time of year. The fish market is conducted in the harbour sheds every morning and makes interesting viewing.

Around the harbour and all along the foreshore and beach area is the jumble of crow step gabled and pan tiled houses, many with quaint outside stairs.

The High Street is connected to the harbour and foreshore via intimate alleys and lanes, one of which passes St Fillans cave, the key for which is locally available. The High Street has a variety of shops, cafes and art galleries,

Pitenweem is famous for its Art Festival which takes place during the first week of August each year.

Immaculate & ideally situated accommodation. In Pittenweem.

With the advantage of perfect weather my wife and I had a perfect short break in Pittenweem . The fishing village is ideally situated to explore all east Fife including St .Andrews. We were impressed with the friendliness of everyone and how helpful they were to two senior citizens!

Lovely apartment

The apartment was great. I loved being able to sit out on the deck and read with the North Sea beside me. There was only one small hitch during my visit, and it was taken care of within minutes. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Relaxing

The apartment is well appointed and comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area. Our car did not move for 3 days as our feet did the exploring. Second visit and would definitely love to go again.

Wonderful property, amazing views.

What an amazing property, right on the waters edge. We loved it. Everything was spotless. Well thought out, totally relaxed here.

Breakfast supplied for first morning, thankyou.

Central for touring fishing villages. We found an exceptional restaraunt at the Anstruther Golf course. Think it was called Rockies. Check on line for name. Fantastic food at very reasonable prices. Lunch was £11 for two courses of really good food. Try it. It became our local. If going in evening ring to book. About two miles from property.

From entering the property we felt at home. Very unusual for us.

A wonderful experience that we hope to duplicate soon. Thank you Joyce

Owner's Response: Happy to hear you enjoyed your stay so much. The restaraunt is called the Rockies and it is a nice walk along part of the coastal path to reach it, takes around 15 minutes. Look forward to you returning.

Lovely clean apartment with great outlook.

The apartment was lovely and clean with everything provided including a welcome pack of food. The only thing missing was a clothes dryer which would have been appreciated.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your possitive review. There is a clothes line fixed to the outside wall near the kitchen window which extends to a hook on the wall of the outside shed and also a pull out clothes dryer airer in the bathroom.

Stunning, Immaculate accomodation

This accommodation is really top class. Everything is to a very high standard. It was exceedingly clean and comfortable and everything you can think of was provided including the basket of goodies for the next morning.We were very fortunate in that the weather was very good, so the view from the rear balcony was stunning. Would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation, and would certainly return again.

Owner's Response: The view form the patio is great as you can see the Isle of May, the Bass Rock and Berwick Law as well as watch all the sea birds of the rocks below.
