Lovely Property. Full of character

  • 5 of 5

Great property, spotlessly clean with all the ameneties you could want. We stayed as a large family group and had plenty of room to spread out. The kids really loved the games room. There are lots of things to do in the surrounding area and plenty of great pubs too!

The welcome from Linley and Paul who look after the property for Melanie was very welcoming - Thank you !

I'd definitely recommend this property and would happily stay there again.

Another perfect weekend

  • 5 of 5

Such a warm welcome by Melanie. We stayed a couple of years ago and decided to go back to celebrate a special birthday. We weren't disappointed. Cozy and perfect for our family weekend. Games room is always a big hit and fantastic walks for the dog. The layout is great as you never feel cramped. Everything you need. Always clean and kept well. Definitely will be visiting again

Home away from home

  • 4 of 5

We came down for a long weekend with our family. The cottage had such a homely feel and everyone enjoyed their stay. We went for long walks in the morning and enjoyed a lovely barbecue in the garden. The games room was great for the children. I asked for a cot last minute and it was all set up by the time I arrived. We had to check out a little late and the owners were accommodating and even met us before departure. It really added a personal touch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Stunning

  • 5 of 5

The photos do not do this place justice. The barn is such a beautiful building that is so well laid out to give people space together but also personal space. The garden is impressive and a wonderful place to waste summer days relaxing. It is well maintained and provides all the essentials you need. We had such an amazing stay and found so many interesting places to visit on your doorstep. We are already planning our next excuse to return to this place!

A stunning property that exceeded our expectations

  • 5 of 5

This property exceeded our expectations. The barn is much larger than the photos portray. The barn is well spread and consists of 4 double bedrooms (2 double & 2 twin) 1 single attic room (not suitable for anyone with any mobility issues as stairs are quite steep) and a huge playroom with two single beds that pull out into doubles.

We hire a house each year as a family and this has been our favourite so far, the lounge area which has comfortable seating and also a huge dining table meant it was a very sociable space. The huge log burner kept the area really warm.

There is a beautiful large garden that leads onto fields for walking.

All of the furnishings are of a high quality and it felt like a home not a holiday home.

The area is beautiful and there are lots of pubs/restaurants close by (not walking distance) The tea room in Chiddingstone looked gorgeous when we popped in but it was too busy for us to get in, we will try again next time.

We will be back for sure, all communication with Melanie was great, she responded really quickly with any questions.

We will return for sure. Thanks Melanie
