The Heriot Row Apartment is an elegant 18th century Category A-listed Georgian townhouse. The apartment is located in Edinburgh’s New Town and is simply the perfect location for your holiday home from home.

Fully renovated that completed in March 2015, the property offers a relaxed luxurious self catering experience in surroundings where original period features are complimented with modern comfort.

With private and secure main door access, the property is set over two floors. The property is truly unique with 4 double bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. In addition, the property has a large family sitting room, a drawing room, a study, a large open plan kitchen/dining space with a snug to relax in. There is also a private and secure rear garden which is accessible from the kitchen/dining room. Finally there is a utility room with a washing/drying machine.

We understand that no two guests are the same and are happy to offer flexibility in the sleeping arrangements. Two of the double bedrooms can be set to be either king size doubles or a twin bed arrangement. Just ask and it will be done.

For those who like to stay connected, there is complementary WiFi throughout the apartment and digital TVs and DVDs.

The apartment includes fresh linen, towels, washing machine/dryer as well as a complimentary Scottish welcome basket. There is also a Sainsbury’s supermarket 4 min walk from the front door.

Late check in... or arriving early... not a problem. Right outside the front door we have a secure storage unit for your luggage. However if there is no one staying before your after you - we are flexible on check-in and check-out times.

For families, we have a travel cot, high chair, toys and other children items - all aimed at making staying with families easy.

All that Edinburgh has to offer is on your doorstep. There is on street car parking located outside the property and the apartment is 10-15 min walk to the train station, tram or bus station.

If you wish to eat out, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby as well as all of the local attractions being right on your door step - absolutely everything is within walking distance.

Finally, we love to please. Therefore no request is too small or too large… all you need to do is ask. We look forward to welcoming you at the Heriot Row Apartment.

Enjoyed our stay!!

We were very comfortable! Angus gave us great directions & had a nice bottle of wine to welcome us! Had a little problem with water starting in shower but got it worked out. Noisy in basement bedrooms when using toilets or water, but overall nice property. We enjoyed seeing the city as we could walk to almost everything or get easy access to transportation. Nice property.

Great location, large and well maintained

We were 4 couples from USA, the apartment was well appointed and large. The location to grocery store, and all major attractions was very convenient. It was very clean and the owner was very helpful. We walked to the home from Waverly train station without difficulty and we are all in our 60's. We would highly recommend this property

Clean but many minor issues

We arrived and within 10 minutes my husband was locked in the bathroom. We called the landlord and he said it would take 45 minutes to get there. Meanwhile Rick is trying to get someone to throw tools from outside into window.. that finally worked. There were issues in a couple of the showers. One you had zhowera

Fabulous apartment, accommodating to all our needs. Private study, large gathering space living room, many bedrooms and baths. Perfect location, quiet and close to downtown. Great Edinburgh Flat

We were two families traveling in Scotland with Edinburgh as our first stop. The apartment is lovely. It has so much charm and was updated with everything we needed. We loved the history of the home and neighborhood which made it that much more meaningful to history buffs like us. There were 5 adults and two adolescents and there was plenty of room and privacy for everyone. The younger members of our group found their spot in the comfortable family room and there were plenty of places for the grown ups to work or plan the day. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is a washer and dryer that makes packing much lighter.

The location was phenomenal. Grocery stores, coffee houses, restaurants and pubs are within short walking distance. New Town is the perfect location for sightseeing as well as everything is within a 15-20 minute walk with much to see and explore along the way. There was no need for a car or cab.

Angus, our host, was so helpful giving us tips on places to eat and where to buy wine and cheese in Edinburgh as well as places to stop on our way to our next location. My son and husband are golfers and he gave us some great information on courses along our route to visit. He came to the rescue when we needed an extension cord.

Our stay was too short and we plan to visit Edinburgh again soon with this flat being the number choice on where we would like to stay.

Family Vacation in Edinburgh - June 2017

This property is just as described....and better! We had three generations of family, 6 adults and 2 children (2yr & 5yr) and so much space that you never felt closed in or on top of each other. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this home. The owner had a table full of brochures, maps, places of interest, and historical facts that was very informative for a first time visitor to Edinburgh. The location of the apartment could not have been any better and is close to everything. We pretty much walked everywhere. There was even a welcome basket with wine, bread, and other treats which was a plus after a 16 hour plane trip. I would recommend this apartment to anyone travelling to Edinburgh and can't wait to plan another trip back for my family!
