No 6 has been lovingly designed and fitted to be a real home from home, with everything you require for a perfect holiday. From the outdoor dining terrace with direct access to the fantastic modern kitchen and living room, with it's large comfy sofa and wood burner for cooler off-season nights. To the master bedroom with it's king size bed and super comfy mattress which leads to the en-suite shower room with rainfall shower. All tastefully finished and decorated. The twin bedroom enjoys the same quality mattresses on the 2 single beds and is located next to the house shower room with it's large walk in enclosure and rainfall shower.Air conditioning and wi-fi will be available for the 2016 calendar.

We are an English family living in Cornwall UK. For the past 11 years we have owned and run a guest house in St.Ives in Cornwall and we also have a self catering cottage in Newlyn, Near Penzance also in Cornwall. We are no strangers to looking after people on their holidays and feel we know what people like, and need, when they are away from home. Originally from Sheffield in South Yorkshire UK,we moved to the coast when our daughters were small for a better quality of life, which we definitely have.

Why RICHARD NEIL chose Pollença District

We have owned No 6 since January 2015 and spent the time since then planning and choosing everything from floor tiles to teaspoons. A bit of a labour of love, we have wanted to own a property in Mallorca for a long time, particularly in this area, as it is so beautiful. There is so much to see, not only in the area around Puerto Pollensa, but generally in Mallorca. The inland areas are totally unspoilt and a joy to discover while the coastal resorts offer everything to please all ages. Our apartment enjoys a quiet location but is close enough to all that the port has to offer, that's why we love it and that's why we bought it. We hope you love it too!

What makes this apartment unique

The building is of a slightly Art Deco style although built in the 1980's and consist's of only 6 apartments. The ground floor is lived in permanently by it's Spanish owners, while the other 4 properties belong to English and German owners. The top floor apartments, of which one is ours, enjoy elevated views across to the hills and have the added benefit of cooling breezes in the summer, when it can get very warm. The outside terrace is spacious with room for dining and relaxing on the loungers.

Excellent apartment within quiet location

Very nice apartment, everything you need in a great location. Large balcony with dining table provides for relaxed outdoor dining. Loved it.

Fantastic apartment

Our first visit to this fabulous apartment and it definitely won't be the last! Beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and very comfortable - a home from home. The location is excellent, the beautiful beach is at the bottom of the road just a five minute walk and there is also a supermarket as well. The apartment has everything you need- comfortable beds, very good air conditioning and also fans provided, a fabulous walk in shower in the main bathroom, well equipped kitchen and a lovely balcony. For me this apartment is perfect- in a peaceful area but in easy reach of everything- the town with it's many shops and restaurants is a ten minute stroll away along the beach front. I can't praise the apartment enough and would highly recommend it. Richard is a pleasure to deal with answering any questions promptly and providing excellent information for your arrival at the apartment. All in all 10 out of ten we couldn't have wanted any more and had a perfect holiday.

Perfect apartment

The apartment is modern, comfortable and stylish. Comfy beds, lots of hot water, fully equipped kitchen with everything you would need if you decide to stay in and cook - there's a large balcony with a good size table and chairs also for al-fresco dining. It is also very well situated in a quiet residential area, but 5 minutes walk will take you to the beautiful beach and the start of the main shopping area.

We had a few queries at the start of our stay but Joanne had them sorted within a couple of hours. Excellent customer service. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the apartment and would definitely stay again.

Excellent 2nd floor apartment

It is difficult to add to all the positive comments which have been made previously about this apartment but I will try. The description , photos and schedule of facilities on the HomeAway web site are all accurate. The apartment is clean & well furnished / equipped for a family of four. Pinaret is a predominantly residential area and it is a five minute walk to the nearby nature reserve and excellent beach including the sail & surf watersports activity centre (great for our two children). It is slightly further (circa 10 -15 minutes) to the majority of shops & restaurants located around the marina /town square area. Towards the end of our week long stay we also found a supermarket within walking distance.

As this was the first time we had booked accommodation via HomeAway we were slightly nervous, but the owners could not have been more helpful from beginning to end. It was also our first visit to Mallorca so we had numerous questions but these were all answered fully & promptly. Ten out ten for customer service.

I think the only suggestions we could make to improve the experience would be to perhaps provide more towels and a few more basic cleaning/washing up products.

We would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment to family & friends and would definitely like to return at some stage in the future.

Lovely family apartment

This is a lovely, modern apartment. It is spotless, and very well air conditioned. The location is a quiet residential area with good parking and access to the main roads out of town but just a few minutes walk to beach, shops and a good selection of restaurants.

Provided that children are old enough to negotiate the two flights of tiled stairs it is an excellent choice for a family of four.

The owners were prompt and helpful with all their responses.

No 6 is perfectly located to enjoy all that Puerto Pollensa has to offer. The apartment is close enough to the beautiful beaches and level promenade but quietly located with an abundance of shaded parking areas. Just a 3 minute walk along the avenue and you arrive at the lengthy beachfront with numerous cafes and bars to relax and watch the world go by. For the more adventurous there are plenty of watersports on offer, from simple pedalos, sailing lessons, kite surfing and jet-ski's for the true adrenaline junkies. If lazing around in the sun is your thing, why not borrow our sun loungers and umbrella and set up camp on the beach for free or hire the beds and brollies that are already in place for you. Around 12 euros per day for 2 beds and an umbrella.

Relaxing is all well and good but there is so much to see on this beautiful island it seems a shame not to venture a bit further to see what's on offer. Within a 20 minute walk you can be in the foothills of the Tramuntana Mountains. This stretch of beautiful mountains forms the backbone of the island and runs from the Northern tip around Formentor rite down the island to the south. You can walk the whole range (though you may need a longer stay) but the Boquer Valley, which stretches from the edge of the Port towards Formentor, is a good place to start and fairly easy. If you have a car, or think about hiring one, the drive to the lighthouse on Formentor is spectacular and truly breathtaking. Try it at dusk as the sun sets...stunning. Alternatively, drive the opposite way towards Lluc (pronounced Yuc) and visit the hilltop Monastery. You can carry on towards Soller and take the tram along to the Port of Soller for lunch in the numerous restaurants.
