One Bedroom, One Bathroom Close to Cheltenham Sleeps 3-4

The Cider Barn is on the first floor of this beautiful barn conversion. Recently renovated to a very high standard to create opening living spaces with exposed beams and solid wood flooring. Accommodation consist of very large bedroom with double bed and exposed beams. A separate shower room and dressing room and a large open plan lounge with sofa bed, bespoke kitchen and dining area.

There is a private small courtyard space with outside furniture for the late summer evenings. Plenty of parking available.

The barn is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty 1 mile from the renowned 'Cotswold Way' and 3 miles from cosmopolitan Montpellier in Cheltenham, with it's numerous eateries wine bars and boutiques.

This area is ideal for Walkers, Cyclist's, The numerous Cheltenham festivals including Gold Cup, Literary and Food. Its also ideal for families wishing to explore the Cotswolds offering the Water Parks close by in Cirencester and its surrounding historical towns and villages.

About Pippa Gilkes

Property was purchased together with our Mother and Father in 2009, we have lovingly renovated and restored our 17th century farmhouse and barn.

We are a family who all live within the Farmhouse grounds.

We are welcoming and friendly and offer comfortable and peaceful accommodation to all our guests. Rob has extensive knowledge with local walks and cycle routes. Marion is a homemaker who loves gardening and putting little personal touches in the holiday let with flowers and welcome packs. We have three children, and welcome any guests with families.

Perfect location and property

The Cider Barn was perfect for our short stay. Well presented and a home from home. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

Ideal for a couple and although with easy access to all amenities it seems as though you are in a secluded rural area. Very peaceful.

Would highly recommend the Cider Barn and would definitely book again

Fantastic!

We had a short break here as a surprise birthday present for my husband at the end of August. Wonderful accommodation in a lovely location perfect for exploring the Cotswolds. Really well equipped with nice little touches such as the great welcome pack on arrival. The hosts are very welcoming and on hand to answer any questions you may have. Would definitely recommend this beautifully converted property to anyone wanting to explore the area and hope to return ourselves very soon.

Even better than it looked in the photos!

The Cidar barn is the perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds. Although close to both Cheltenham and Gloucester, it feels like you are in the depths of the countryside and the barn is a peaceful and relaxing place to come back to after your day. The accommodation has been beautifully converted and has everything you could possibly need during your stay. This,combined with the generosity of the owners in leaving tea,biscuits,cereals and even chocolates, makes it an even more special place to stay. All in all, a great holiday home!

Amazing!

Dear Pippa and family. Please accept our apology for the delay in writing our review, which was due to unforeseen circumstances upon our return home to Australia.

The Cider Barn was the highlight of our stay in the UK, and our 1st visit to this stunning area. It has been beautifully and lovingly restored, and has everything you could possibly need. A fabulous and well equipped kitchen if you wish to self cater, very comfy bed, plenty of wardrobe space and room for your luggage, a nice hot shower with extras like shampoo etc, and a warm and inviting sitting area to relax in the evenings. There is also a wealth of information, maps,pamphlets etc, provided in the apartment for places to visit in the surrounding areas. An unexpected bonus was finding tea/coffee, cereals and lots of extras to use for breakfast. What a wonderful and thoughtful surprise.

The apartment is in a great location to visit the many picturesque villages and towns, but is away from the hustle and bustle of the main highways, providing a quiet haven to return to each day. There are supermarkets within easy driving distance for any essentials you may need.

We just loved it, our only regret is that 6 days was not long enough.

We sincerely enjoyed this special apartment and the fabulous and friendly hosts, Pippa, David, Marion and Rob. Thankyou for everything, we absolutely hope to return. Take care, Sylvia and Murray
