Retired accountant who uses this Property in the Off Season for Swimming, Golf, Hiking, Winery Tours, Historical Buildings and Portuguese history - as the Portuguese traded with the World long before Uk, Holland and others caught up.

I lived in Africa for 21 years - and enjoy the similarity of Bird Life, Plants & Trees and the Sunny climate and resultant more relaxed attitudes of the inhabitants.

Clean, well maintained and spacious

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunny Carlton. The apartment is clean, spacious and well equipped, the sofa bed was large and suited my teenage son very well. The on site manager Marta could not be more helpful. You are located about a 15 minute walk from the beach but the restaurants are plentiful and the Strip is about 10 min walk too. The pool for the rental is small and you need to cross the road to get to it but it suited us for a dip and a sun bathe as it was never busy. Loved Albuferia.

Excellent Apartment with a great location

Brilliant apartment which had everything that we needed.

We were met by Marta who explained everything to us and was always on hand with any queries we had.

Fantastic pool just on our doorstep and we were always able to find a sunbed.

Paraque de Corvovada is excellently situated with a ten minute walk to the strip which we frequented a lot.

I would highly recommend this apartment and my family and I will be contacting Paul to come and stay next year.

Disappointing

The apartment itself was ok. The marketing was disappointing and misleading. It had 3 balconies overlooking a very busy road and nowhere near the old town. There was one small pool, which was lovely but we were led to believe there were 3. Wouldn't have booked this had we known where it was. It's a small walk to "the strip" which is a dream if you love neon and concrete. We had a lovely holiday inspite of the location of the apartment. Highly recommend the dolphin trip. And also if you want yo holiday on the M1, this is the place for you! Marta, who manages the property, was so kind and helpful too.

Owner's Response: This Review seems very unfair & totally out of sync with all our other Reviews. It says the apartment itself was good( not 1 negative); Agent was very helpful & kind. So all areas we have Control over were good. Dealing with the external items - Albufeira is a dense Town indeed where almost ALL condominiums are close to Roads. The advert does NOT say it is close to the Old Town - even though it actually is only 1 Stop away on Mini Train. Each 3 Blocks have an Adult + Kiddy Pool attached. Nowhere does the advert say 3 Pools. Therefore we believe this Review to be most unfair and concentrates on External issues.

Superb Apartment

First impressions count and we certainly weren't disappointed. Met on arrival by the management who gave us a tour of the apartment and explained key details like air con, Wi-Fi etc. a guide book on hand with answers, tours and maps.

Apartment is in a secure block and very quiet, all mod-cons and really a home from home.

Within walking distance from a few restaurants and mini supermarket, and around 15 mins walk to 'the strip'.

Would highly recommend and will definitely will return.

Immaculate and spacious apartment

Fantastic apartment which had everything we needed. The interior is airy and fresh and the apartment was spotless when we arrived. The Corcovada complex itself is modern and very nice with a relaxing pool area. Marta was extremely helpful upon our arrival. Paul also organised our airport transfers which was a great help. I would really recommend this apartment and would definitely stay here again.

Great Apartment / Great Location

My family and I (2 adults, 2 children), stayed in this apartment 29 Jun for 9 nights, and had the best holiday ever!

We found the apartment exactly as it had been described and photographed on the website. It was clean, modern, spacious, well maintained and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. The three balconies meant that the apartment was always bright and airy. It really was a home from home.

Making the booking couldn't have been easier; I corresponded with the owner via e-mail and always received prompt and informed replies to any queries. I found both the owner ,and the on site agents that they use to be proffesional, friendly and very helpful at all times.

The Parque da Corcovada complex is great, the pool area was never overcrowded and we were always able to find a lounger. A less than 10 minute stroll to the shops, bars and restaurants and the "strip".

I have to mention Roberto's chicken place, which is located across the road from the apartment. Great food and great service, to either sit in or take away right on your doorstep.

I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Albufeira, and my family and I will definitely be returning in the future.
