4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sleeps 8-10

Campagne le Claou is a delightful old stone built property set amid idyllic 12 acres of vineyards, olive trees, garden and forest. It has been tastefully restored in 2014 to combine modern convenience and Provençal charm. Four bedrooms accommodate eight guests in comfort plus an additional two children. Wireless internet access is available throughout the house and outdoor terraces. The large, deep swimming pool is surrounded by a stone terrace furnished with chairs and loungers and with great views to the vineyards, mountains and the medieval village of Callas. Situated in the countryside between the Mediterranean and the mountains the property serves as a great hub for lots of adventures all over beautiful Provence. An ideal and luxury hide away for a group of friends, a big family, two families or two-three generations.

The property is an old two-story stone house of 210 square metres – a typical Provencal mas built out of big local stones. The house is surrounded by majestic cypress trees and beautifully landscaped terraces on several levels with stone walls. The property has land holdings totalling 12 acres of vineyards, forest, olive groves and lawns with fruit trees, including abricot, almond, cherry and fig trees, which offer plenty of unique places to enjoy life in both sun and shade. The entire property is fenced with an electrically fence in order to keep the area's wild boar out. But you may be lucky enough to spot a small herd of wild boars in the landscape – usually at dusk.

The new owners have done a complete renovation of the house. You are welcome to contact the owner for more information.

Une magnifique maison dans un endroit de rêve!!

  • 5 of 5

Fabulous property in a great secluded location

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at this fantastic property, which is better in real life than in pictures. The house is spacious and well equipped, set on really large and nicely secluded plot, with a great and sizeable pool. It's a perfect base to explore Provence, but to be honest, we spent most of the time by the pool!

Amazing property that exceeded all expectations

  • 5 of 5

We travelled from Australia to stay a few weeks in France and elsewhere in Europe. We had one week at Campagne le Claou, which was our favourite of the whole trip. Everything you could hope for...unspoilt, genuine local Provencal village (Callas), amazing countryside, great day trips to the stunning Gorge du Verdon, Monte Carlo, Nice, Grasse...but at all times coming back to the seclusion, comfort, style and luxury of Campagne le Claou. Then of course we were looked after by the amazing Jewels, who welcomed us and took care of anything we were uncertain of. Simply one of the best places we have ever stayed at! Thank you so much for building such a wonderful home!...loved the den! Chris and Fi and family

We came all of the way from Australia and this beautiful home was everything we hoped for (and more) for a holiday in France. Callas itself is a beautiful unspoilt town and the house was a paradise. Beautifully decorated. Jewels who looked after us and the house was fantastic- great customer service. Thank you for a great stay.

Cozy weekend in the hills of Provence

  • 5 of 5

We spent a long weekend in this charming and recently renovated vineyard in the middle of vines, olive trees and hilly landscape. The house is renovated with respect of Provence country style and unique old furnitures combined with requirement for modern living. The pool is large with an amazing view!

We visited some of the local Vinery's (i.e. Château D'Esclan, one og the top producers in Provence) and the local Coopérative in Flayosc, where more than 100 local winegrowers deliver there grapes. Great experience! We also went to the local olive mill "Moulin de Callas" to buy local olive oil.

The local Saturday marked in the center of Callas is also very recommendable - complet it with oysters and white vine on the Hotel - 5 euros!

This is an outstanding place to spend your holiday with plenty of room to bring your entire family or lots of friends

What a charming and well furnished house. We were 8 people and had a perfect holiday. The owners did a marvelous job renovating the house. The pool, the view and the terraces are great spots for relaxing, eating and entertaining. Thank you for renting your paradise!
