About the property

Situated on the top floor with balconies on both sides offering panoramic views

Just a few streets back from Place Masséna, and virtually next door to the Galeries Lafayette. The apartment is approximately ten minutes walk to the beach and Promenade. A five minute walk will take you to the Old Town and bus station. The shopping district of Avenue Jean Médecin is a few steps away. The train station is fifteen minutes walk away or a short tram ride. Consequently, this rental apartment is perfect if you want to be in a fifteen-minute circumference to all that Nice has to offer.

The apartment is on the 6th floor of a well maintained Art Deco building with a lift and air-conditioning. Living area is 70 square metres.

The flat has the advantage of balconies on both the front side and at the back, overlooking the rear of local buildings. This gets the afternoon and evening sun and is a peaceful location to enjoy.

Very comfortable and quiet pied-à-terre right in the centre of Nice and next to the Old Town

The apartment is fantastically well situated a stone's throw from all the best restaurants, shops and amenities that Nice has to offer. The apartment has great views of the city on both sides. On one side you can see over to Mont Boron toward the Observatory and Monaco and on the other you can see the back of Place Massena. Even though you are right in the middle of Nice, the apartment is quiet and cosy with air conditioning, an entertainment centre, TV with Netflix and even a Nespresso machine. Everything you need for a city break in an attractively decorated space and welcoming ambience, cheaper and less impersonal than a hotel. We were met by Manu who showed us where everything was in the apartment and gave us recommendations where to eat and what to see in perfect English. We could also contact him if we had any problems which we didn't. We spent a lot of time exploring the Old Town, the Cours Saleya and the Port area, all of which were on our doorstep. A great short break in a fascinating city. We will be back soon. Our thanks to Paul for organising everything.

Nice apartment in walking distance to everywhere

Very good location close to all amenities, as well as to the beach.

Perfect apartment in the heart of Nice

Beautiful updated apartment with the comforts of home within walking distance to old town, shopping, restaurants, markets and the promenade. The apartment was bright and clean, the 2 beds comfortable and bathroom spacious. The apartment is better sized for 2 people or a small family if an extended stay. Excellent appliances all in working order and the washing machine was a plus. TV was small but of course not the focal point when in Nice. Though in the heart of Nice the apartment is quiet and secure. Street parking is a challenge as in any city and we parked a few minutes walk away in the parking garage under the shopping mall - an extra expense to keep in mind. We highly recommend the apartment and would happily rent it again.

Modern Apartment in the Heart of Nice

My best friend and I loved staying at this beautifully decorated apartment for our brief stay in Nice this month. This apartment had everything we needed (unlike what hotels provide) and we had no issues with any of the appliances which were all up to date. The air conditioning worked great (having stayed during a very hot week), was refreshing to return to after a full day of being outside. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was clean and nicely kept. The best part was where the apartment was located, walking distance to public transportation/train station, beach, restaurants, shops etc in the heart of beautiful old town Nice.

Great location in Nice!

The apartment is just few steps away from Place Massena (3 mm walk), the old town of Nice (6 mm walk) and the Promenade des Anglais (6 mm walk). The apartment is super clean, bright, modern, has everything you need for your stay and is very quiet. The mattresses are so conformable. The owner even left a small cart to carry your grocery as the stores no longer provide plastic bags so if you plan to fill up the fridge do not forget the cart!

Manu who greeted us is very helpful and easy to reach.

Comfortable and very convenient

My daughter and I stayed for five days in June and loved our experience at the apartment. It was convenient to shopping, old town, the beach and train station. We were able to find everything we needed at the apartment and when we had a problem with the door Manu was there in a flash to help us out! I would highly recommend Nice as a central location to explore the beautiful Côte d'Azur.

TGV goes to Italy, Provence & Paris at 1 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : A8 Autoroute (La Provencale) to Italy or Provence at 7 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Baie D'Amalfi. Italian restaurant on ground floor at 0.01 Kilometres Nearest Ski : Alpes-Maritimes/Isola 2000, Auron, Valberg at 90 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Plage Beau Rivage, Quai des États-Unis at 0.5 Kilometres Car: not necessary

The apartment could not be better situated in the centre of Nice. The Old Town and Promenade des Anglais are a brief stroll away as are the shops in Jean Médecin, Rue De France and Place Masséna.

There is bus stop outside the main entrance of the building which will take you to many of Nice's interesting places. The 3, 9 and 10 will all take you to the Port from where you can easily change for a bus to Beaulieu, Villefranche and Monaco. The 22 will take to Cimiez where you can visit the Musée Chagall and the Musée Matisse. Other buses will take you straight to Antibes, Cannes, Grasse or St Paul de Vence.

The main railway station is a short walk down Avenue Jean Médecin from where you can take the TGV to Italy, Provence or Paris or a local train to any of the small towns along the coast.

Getting To The Apartment

From The Airport

Taxi ranks are easily found at all terminals and once inside will take around 20 minutes to reach the apartment. The taxi should be able to deliver you to the door however; time and price will vary with the amount of local traffic. The 98 Airport shuttle bus is easy, cheap and convenient and just 6€. It runs every twenty minutes during the day, with less frequent service in the evenings and early mornings. If you get off the bus at the Cathédral-Vieille Ville stop, walk back towards the place Masséna, follow the tramway tracks to rue Pastorelli /corner Jean Médecin, it is a three minute walk.

From the Train Station

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville. From there, the tram provides a cost effective way to get to the apartment. The trams cost 1.50€ and depart every five minutes. To take the tram, when you leave the Gare, turn left and follow Avenue Thiers, until you come to Avenue Jean Medecin. Take the tram just one stop to Jean Médecin, then cross the tracks facing Nice Étoile Mall, continue to the bus stop at rue Pastorelli, which is the second street down. You may also take a taxi from Gare SNCF to the apartment. The taxi rank is right outside the main entrance to the station and will take about five minutes to reach the apartment.

By Car

From the airport / Nice centre drive on the Promenade des Anglais, pass the hotel Meridien, turn left at the garden Albert 1ere, cross the place Masséna straight ahead, and turn at the first on the left on Alberti, at the fourth street light turn left on boulevard Dubouchage, stay on the right to go under the tunnel and you’ll see parking entrance. Closest public parking entrance is underground the Nice Étoile from the one way boulevard Dubouchage, which is a two minute walk from the apartment.

  • The master bedroom has a large double bed with bedside tables and table lamps, a built in wardrobe and a large chest of drawers. There is also a radio alarm with ipod dock. Patio doors give access to a sunny south facing balcony. The second bedroom offers one double bed with a bedside table and lamp. Storage is provided from another fitted wardrobe and the Patio doors lead onto the same sunny balcony as the master bedroom. If you are travelling with a baby, there is enough room in the master bedroom for a baby cot. Please order it at the booking stage if you would like one to be provided.
