The property is distributed over three separate self contained accommodations with 2 private swimming pools set in a tiered elevated position in picturesque immaculately maintained gardens. Outstanding design with a Moorish feel, quality fittings, furnishings & finish. Super location located on the edge the historic village of Portol walking distance to bars and restaurants, few minutes drive to the market town of Santa Maria and 10 to 15 minutes drive from the city of Palma, Palma International airport and the beaches around the South West coast.

Situated close to the tranquil village of Portol, within walking distance to some bars, restaurants and shops in the village centre. A few minutes drive will take you to the market town of Santa Maria with it´s cafe bars, shops & restaurants, and the main plaza which hosts the Sunday market

The property consists of three separate individual accommodations each offering an element of privacy for larger groups of friends and family that want to holiday together and still have the luxury of a little bit of intimacy when required.

The main house on the upper level has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 people with 2 bathrooms, beautiful lounge and breakfast kitchen with large outside terrace and fantastic comfortable outside sofas with views across the valley towards the village houses. The centrally located main swimming pool is situated on the next level down and has a superb sun bathing terrace with sun loungers and large parasols provided alongside the the 10m x 5m heated pool and an area to the side with comfortable sofa and chairs. Adjoining the pool on this level you will find a fantastic fully equipped outside kitchen and grill / barbecue area with dining table and seating for up to 8 people. This area acts as the central focal point for the three accommodations.

Another set of steps leads you to the lower level of the grounds and to the separate guest cottage which contains two bedrooms and can sleep up to 4 people, the twin bedroom can only be accessed through the master bedroom so is ideally suited to a couple with children. There is a lovely open plan lounge with sofas and dining area and a bathroom (with walk in shower, no bath) leading off the lounge area. The cottage has it´s own fully equipped fitted kitchen. Outside there is a 12m long swimming pool which is ideal for exercising or leisure swimming, there is a feature shower under a wooden pergola at one end of the pool with a dining table with chairs for 6 people under a similar covered pergola at the other. Here you will also find an outdoor grill / barbecue with sink and working surfaces.

WIFI Internet is available throughout the property and grounds.

The gardens of the property will be a major draw for clients who would like to spend some time in an oasis of flowers, shrubs and trees. The property has the name of Las Palmeras due to the 40 plus Palm trees that are maintained in the 5000 m2 of lovingly cared for grounds.

We had a wonderful stay at Las Palmeras - the house and gardens are beautifully maintained, the setting is lovely and private. Everything we needed was on hand, and we availed the services of a local chef who cooked for us one night - highly recommended!

Paradise, perfect for 2 or 3 families sharing

Nous avons eu le plaisir de rester a Las Palmeras en Juin 2013 avec deux couples d'amis et leurs enfants.

La propriete etant divisee en 3 parties avec deux piscines, chacun avait son espace interieur et exterieur privatif et nous nous retrouvions dans la cuisine d'ete a cote de la piscine principale pour nos repas.

Cote pratique, toutes les serviettes et les draps sont fournis, les cuisines sont bien equipees, il y a un espace lave linge dans une des maisons et un panier avec les essentiels nous attendait a notre arrivee (the, cafe, papier toilettes, tablettes lave vaisselles etc). Il y a aussi une femme de menage qui vient deux fois par semaines.

Las Palmeras est un paradis avec des jardins tropicaux magnifiques aux portes de Palma et de Santa Maria.

Atemberaubend schön !

Die Finca besteht aus DREI Häusern auf einem Grundstück. Ideal für mehrere Familien oder Paare, die gemeinsam reisen. Nicht geeignet, wenn man alle Gäste, z.B. Kinder, in einem Haus haben möchte. Entfernung der Häuser zueinander ca 30 Meter.

Fie Finca ist atemberaubend schön und wundervoll mallorquinisch ohne "overstyled" zu sein. Jedes der drei Häuser hat eine komplett ausgestattete Küche, sowie einen eigenen Wohnbereich und Bäder.

Ein sympathisches Ehepaar, englischsprachig, macht das Hauskeeping in Perfektion und voller Leidenschaft. Uns wurden sogar die Einkäufe VOR der Anreise erledigt und auch während des Aufenthalts.

Den meisten Spass hatten wir am zentralen Pool mit Barbecue und voll ausgestatteter Küche, sowie einem schattig gelegenen 10 Personen-Tisch. Insgesamt gibt es VIER komplette Küchen. Und ZWEI Swimmingpools.

Die sehr gepflegte, bereits aufgebaute Tisch-Tennis-Platte sorgt für Gruppenspass.

Die Finca ist eine absolute Empfehlung !

Owner's Response: Hi, thanks for the great review, it is much appreciated. Here is an English translation for anyone that is interested This country house is spread over three houses on one plot. All houses are equipped with full kitchen and private equipped living area. Ideal for multiple families or friends traveling together. Not good if you want all people, for example, Children, would like to have in one house. The villas are absolutely perfectly equipped, the atmosphere is to be outstanding Majorcan without "over-styled". A nice couple, in English, makes Hauskeeping full perfection and passion. They even help the purchases were done prior to our arrival and during the stay. We had the most fun at the central pool with barbecue and fully equipped kitchen. There are four kitchens. And two swimming pools. And best of all: A very well-kept, already established table-tennis table. An absolute recommendation!
