Grau d'Agde is a family seaside town situated on the Mediterranean coast at the mouth of the River Herault
Agde, Grau d'Agde and Cap d'Agde form the local Commune which is steeped in history.
Grau d'Agde is the local fishing port of the area with working tuna boats still based here.
This apartment is located on the sea front just at the end of the main promenade.
It will sleep 2/4 people and has all the facilities for you to enjoy a seaside holiday.
There is one double bedroom with an extra large double bed to sleep two people whilst a double sofa bed in the living area will put up an extra 2 if required.
The apartment has an open plan living, dining and kitchen area which opens onto the ample balcony terrace where you can relax and enjoy your aperitif and evening meal whilst absorbing the French Culture.
The property lay-out also includes a shower room and separate toilet.
The main attraction of this apartment is the wonderful views over the Mediterranean sea and local Petanque areas making it easy to enjoy the local Boule competitions and various water activities as they take place.
A private garage is also available for clients within the price quoted - although MPV-type vehicles are too high to enter the parking area.
The apartment also provides a good base for exploring the other sights of the region, including wine tasting, boat trips on the Canal du Midi, Oyster beds of the Etang du Thau, French markets and nearby historic cities like Pezenas, Carcassone and Aigues Mortes.

We only stayed for a short break (wish it had been longer) but we had a wonderful few days. The apartment is perfect, so clean and fresh with some nice little touches. it has everything you could wish for from the well equipped kitchen to the fabulous huge balcony. The view out over the beach and sea is lovely it was so relaxing to just sit and chill. There are so many good restaurants in the area that you are spoilt for choice but if we had to choose one it would be Les Vagues, it is quite a walk so a taxi would be best but its truly worth it to sit out on the beach eating exquisite food and watching the sun go down. All the communications from Jane were friendly and very helpful. We would highly recommend this lovely apartment and hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
APARTMENT & LOCATION EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS
The photographs do not do justice to the apartment. The location is just excellent, everything within walking distance for convenience(Shops/restaurants/bars). Try La Pergola & L' Astoria restaurants for friendly service/good food/prices. The apartment was clean and fresh - thanks Jane and Steven for advice re attractions/travel etc., - great friendly service (drinks in fridge very much appreciated - thanks again). We have already recommended this apartment to our family and friends and hope we will be back ourselves before too long.
Activity and Interests
This first floor apartment is located across the road from the beach with wonderful views of the Mediterranean sea from its terrace.
Grau d'gde is close to both the historic city of Agde and the well known marina of Cap d'Agde. It is an ideal location for exploring the beaches and countryside of the Languedoc-Roussillon region.
