2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms With Panoramic Views Over Sea And Antibes

If you are seeking a charming home newly refurbished with new kitchen and bathrooms in a quiet location with wonderful views- yet located between Nice and Cannes with only 5 minutes drive to the beach, this home could be suitable for you!

About the location: Our holiday home is situated in a private, gated prestige country club set in beautifully landscaped gardens above a lake and with far reaching views over the sea and Antibes. It is 10 minutes drive to Cannes and 15 minutes drive to Nice located in a village called Villeneuve-Loubet. Our home is in an elevated position and surrounded by woodland with views over the sea. The private patio is south/west facing and enjoys sun all day. There is an Olympic size communal pool 8 minutes walk from our home. There is a daily/weekly discounted charge to use the country club facilities. This includes the use of swimming pool and tennis courts. We also have a pool snack bar and a pool restaurant. Next to the pool we have a pharmacy, a super market, a cafe, a doctor and a dentist. Opposite our home we have plenty of public parking spaces and if you wish you can use our private garage. Our home is a ground floor apartment, 80 m2 with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The hallway and lounge have marble flooring with antique French dining table and 5 chairs. Corner sofa and 2 comfortable chairs, air con, radiators and silk curtains. One set of sliding doors leading onto the 50 m2 slate patio complete with John Lewis outdoor table and 6 chairs. 2 John Lewis sun loungers with mattresses. Double French doors open up to the patio from the dining area.Out door garden spot lights operated from remote control.( remote to be found in electricity cupboard next to the main door). Silk curtains in the lounge and dining room. New Italian designer kitchen with Bosh hob and oven. Well equipped kitchen through out with Nespresso machine. Many of our tenants like to cook, so we keep a supply of pots and pans and cooking utensils. We also keep a supply of tea, coffee, condiments, aluminium foil, cling film and paper towels for guest convenience. Larder with hoover, iron and ironing board. Ipod dock, 42 inch Samsung flat screen TV with DVD player and freeview in the lounge.( 100 channels incl bbc news) Bring your own apple TV. Large selection of DVDs to borrow. Selection of books and magazines. Some games and toys in the basket in the second bedroom. In the hallway leading to the bedrooms you have 2 large cupboards for your clothes and suitcases. Master bedroom has comfortable king size bed, 2 mattresses, 2 duvets, bedside table and lamp. Chair and basket. French dresser, double French doors opening up to the patio with far reaching views over the sea. Master bath room with door from the hallway right next to master bed room. Rain shower,Italian design, dark grey slate with seashell borders. Heated towel rail and modern toilet. Hair dryer. . Second bedroom has king size bed with separate mattresses and separate duvets. Basket with a few toys, chair, French dresser, bed side tables and bed side lamps. En suite bathroom (smaller size) with modern shower cubicle with rain shower, heated towel rail, small sink and toilet with mirror above completed last year. Both bed rooms have shutters instead of curtains. Master bed room has air con.

We want you to thoroughly enjoy your stay so we have tried to think of everything, so you can be as comfortable as possible. We have a baby cot available.

Why Lise Baekgaard West chose Villeneuve-Loubet

We chose to buy an apartment in Hauts de Vaugrenier on the Cote D'Azur because of the good all year round weather, the cafe' society, the golf, the restaurants and the variety of activities this area brings. We are never bored. In the winter we can ski one day and then play golf the next. We love visiting Menton and Monte Carlo. Antibes is our favourite local place for sandy beaches and gourmet restaurants.

What makes this apartment unique

We fell in love with this apartment because of its unique location. We have an amazing view from both the lounge and dining room area and the master bedroom. I have a large part of my Danish family nearby, as they have also got holiday homes in Hauts de Vaugrenier. It is lovely to meet up on the Cote D'Azur where the sun is shining 300 days of the year.

Lovely property with stunning views.

My husband, 2 children and I spent about 10 days at this property. We got to meet Lisse (the owner) as we arrived and she couldn't have been lovelier. We had emailed prior to this and she had been very prompt and helpful with her responses. The property is in a gated community with stunning views. It was clean, well-maintained and had an absolutely lovely patio overlooking the sea and Antibes below. It is also very conveniently situated and just a short 15 minute car ride away from Biot, Nice, Antibes and Valbonne. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend it!

A great apartment with a spectacular view.

We had a fabulous time staying at your apartment last week. It provided us with a great base from which to explore both the coast and the mountains beyond. Then when we had done so, with the nights drawing in early, it also afforded us a very comfortable retreat in the evening to relax and chat. Then to wake up to such a superb view in the mornings and take breakfast on your patio was the perfect start to each day. We couldn't have asked for more.

The apartment is situated in a private gated community close to the beach and nearby villages. The location is private and you can make use of the two John Lewis sun loungers on the patio. The view is far reaching and spectacular enjoying a sea view and view over Antibes with its amazing yatchts. Just below the apartment the area is wooded and there is a lake with ducks and swans. In the country club you can play tennis, swim in the Olympic size swimming pool and laze by the pool all day. We recommend booking a table for lunch in the pool restaurant over looking the pool. ( Admission charge to enter pool and book tennis courts. Under 6 free). We usually walk to the pool and take a nature trail. This is a lovely walk and takes 8 minutes. The same walk will take you to the small village next to the pool. Here you will find estate agents, pharmacy, laundrette and dry cleaners, a dentist, beautician, hair dresser, medical emergency room and a grocery shop and cafe'. This is convenient for picking up the English newspaper, baguette and croissants. By car only 3-4 minutes. We have permanent French residents as neighbours, and the area is very quiet. The private security guards ensure safety in the area. If you prefer the beach it is a short drive away. The beach is pebbly but well looked after and not crowded. We usually go to the beach bar for lunch and drinks. In the apartment you will find beach mats and folding chairs, bucket and spade and parasol for those lovely days on the beach. The food shopping is best done in the large supermarket, Geant. It is two minutes from Hauts de Vaugrenier, and you pass it on your right hand side coming from the airport towards Villeneuve-Loubet. Here you buy fresh fish, meat and vegetables along side a large selection of other food. Golf is a very popular sport in France and we have a selection of 8-10 golf courses in the area. Monte Carlo golf is our favourite. In the winter ski sport destinations are within easy reach. We love to go to Auron and leave early in the morning to reach Auron after 90 minute's drive, park for free in the square, rent skis and boots and a one day ski pass . Auron is a pretty village with good after ski and lovely restaurants. A good selection of slopes suitable for all levels and enough variety to keep you busy for 2-3 days.

For the children we recommend Phoenix Parc - a mini zoo with a botanical garden. This is opposite Nice airport. Marine land is in Antibes, 10 min away, and this is famous for its Killer whales and water slides. Not to be missed is the Picasso museum in Antibes.
