Architecturally designed villa with large outdoor areas and large pool

The villa was renovated and extended by Vialet Architecture in 2012, the original traditional one story 'Mas' village house now extends to over 230m2 over three levels, with south west facing landscaped gardens and terraces continuing down two further levels to the pool and separate garden level, a large grassy area, complete with oak, olive, almond, fig and lemon trees and a herb garden.

The house boasts two very large open-plan reception rooms, each complete with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, and a further seating area on the midway level, all with access to outdoor terraces.

There are four double bedrooms, two of which are en suite, with access to separate outdoor terraces, as well as a large family bathroom and two guest toilets. Two cots for infants/children and a high chair are also provided.

The house is fully air-conditioned and alarmed, with both electric and mosquito shutters on all doors and windows, which can be controlled individually or centrally on each level.

The kitchens are fully equipped with the latest top of the range appliances, and fully stocked to cater for hosting large family gatherings.

The outdoor areas have extensive sunlit and shaded decking on each level, with a large 12m x 4m pool, a pétanque area, numerous outdoor seating and dining areas within landscaped mediterranean and grass gardens.

The house is accessed by electronic gates and a separate pedestrian gate, which can be opened via intercom, remote or digicode, with parking for at least three cars.

The house provides a range of amenities - a large library of English literature, numerous CD's and DVD's, fast wifi access throughout the house, full access to French and UK cable channels, BBC/RTE, Sky Sports, Apple TV, etc in both reception rooms, as well as a movie projector and Denon state of the art surround sound systems in the living areas.

A range of lilos, mattresses and childrens toys for the pool and trips to the beach are provided, as well as picnic sets, scuba masks, golf clubs, tennis rackets, footballs, petanque balls and other leisure equipment are also available for use

Bormes les Mimosas is an idyllic holiday destination, a 12th century perched hilltop village that winds downs to some of the most unspoilt sandy coastline on the Mediterranean. Home to the official summer retreat of the French President and Belgian and Luxembourg royal families, Bormes is a hidden gem, quintessentially French, and less hectic than the more touristy villages of St Tropez, Gassin and Ramatuelle.
