Dar Zitoune is located about 65 kilometers south of Marrakech on the edge of a small Berber village (Titzfrite) at the foot of the High Atlas. 3 km away is the town of Amizmiz where you will find all the shops: food, pharmacy without forgetting the picturesque Berber souk every Tuesday.
The region is agricultural and producer of olive oil. The crafts are numerous: dressmakers, upholsterers, cabinet makers, potters ... The center of Marrakech is 45 minutes by taxi or car (buses leave from Amizmiz every 1/2 hour and drop you off near the famous Koutoubia mosque, 2 steps from Jemaa el Fna square.)
The house designed by a Toulouse architect, inspired by Berber traditions, was built in 2016 using exclusively local materials. It is made up of 5 rooms: three double rooms (each 14 m2) with private bathroom, 2 triple rooms (15 m2 and 19m2) with bathroom. The entrance to the house is via the interior patio, which requires Moroccan tradition, which serves the different rooms of the house. You can also access the roof terrace (200 m2) from which you will have a magnificent view of the High Atlas mountains. A covered terrace is also available on one level overlooking the 50 m2 fully equipped living-dining room.
