Delightful Secluded 17th Century Barn In The Heart Town with private parking

Luxury Self Contained Accommodation Old Amersham Buckinghamshire, sleeps up to 7.

Delightful peaceful and secluded 16th century converted barn in the heart of Old Amersham hidden away to the rear of the Crown Hotel and within 100 yards of the centre of the Old Town with its own private parking.

Do call us if you have any questions - John 07768 893088

We have another larger property next door and can sleep 11 in 6 bedrooms without using the sofa bed and other temporary beds.

We have larger and other properties available adjacent in the Old Town but do note whilst we can do up to 7 guests in The Barn - it would be a bit of a squeeze - it would require the sofa bed to be used and the put me up bed as well - its fine for children or one family with close friends but 7 adults might be a stretch.

The Barn is featured in the photographs and sleeps up to 7 people. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with twin beds. A sofa bed is located in the sitting room and single put you up bed is also available.

The larger house is extremely comfortable and spacious, it sleeps seven in comfort in four bedrooms (and a lot more if required) with three ground floor bathrooms, there is a large ensuite king size bedroom and a single bedroom with its own bathroom - ideal for elderly Mum's and Dad's. There is another double bedroom and a twin that share a bathroom.

Please call to enquire about the larger house. 07768 893088 - John. We can provide a full information. The nightly rate is £195 for the Barn with a three night minimum stay, seven nights minimum over the Christmas break and £395 for the larger house with a four night minimum stay.

Old Amersham is one of the most beautiful towns in the South of England located in the rolling Chiltern Hills designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty. It has many quality restaurants and pubs all in a short walking distance.

Private, secluded and extremely comfortable with private courtyard garden and own entrance - sit in kitchen and your own Private Parking Space adjacent to the courtyard garden.

Fully equipped home away from home - ideal for corporate visitors or a holiday visit.

Sabatier chefs knives, original artworks, books and DVD's, Sound system with I Phone hook ups, Wi for the kids, Scalextric set and games and local walking maps and information.

Please note that our minimum stay is three nights. In high season it is seven nights - normally Saturday to Saturday - Christmas is a one week minimum booking at £200 per night - but do please enquire especially if close to the time of arrival. We will not accept three night bookings a long way ahead as this can knock out a longer term booking.

Accommodation was good & as expected; comfortable, compact indoor seating areas for 4 adults

  • 4 of 5

We very much enjoyed our weekend stay in The Old Barn, Old Amersham.

John was very welcoming and attentive. Lovely touch to leave a birthday card for my daughter. He emailed us really good arrival instructions and information about the accommodation. The kitchen was very well equipped and usable. The iron, hair dryer, washing machine and dishwasher all useful and worked well.

We had to rearrange the seating so as all four of us could watch the TV/use coffee table. The dining table was a bit compact to sit 4 adults around. Weather wasn't good enough to do so, but the courtyard was very spacious for at least 6 and was a very useful enclosed space to leave muddy boots, leave door open for our dog to come and go. There was a large BBQ; this would be lovely in the summer months.

The beds were very comfortable. The Barn was very clean. With just one toilet/shower and living space fairly compact, it would be very tight if two further guests were sleeping on the bed settee. Lots of lighting options and plenty of plug sockets. John was on hand when there was a power failure. There was plenty of hot water.

The Barn is situated near many pubs and restaurants. John's recommendations for places to eat were useful; as well as, taxi service information and local places to run/walk. I would recommend.
